Goatness Presents "Jordan Dunks. 97'98 Season" All of The Goat Michael "Air" Jordan's Best Dunks of the 1997'98 NBA Season, Play-Offs & Finals. Including some Gems (as usual)...
With Pippen out the first half of the season Jordan tapped into all of the other elements of his game people thought he lost or did not ever have to carry the load. His energy level the power behind his dunks, his cuts, his defensive intensity all heightened to the highest with Pippen out. Jordan wasn't just a killer, he was a survivor and his game was tool kit. Magic pure magic
It boils down to MJ was a straight baller for each one of the seasons he played, even at 40 yrs old with the Wizards he came back from a 3 or 4 year retirement and still scored 22/24 points a game. I miss these days
So nice to see these old dunks by M.J and no hanging on the rim doing pullups or slam on a guy and not get in a defenders face after the fact and get the old taunting technical foul call
Mj steal reflexes was impreccable too because of his steals average.. mj had a very fast and quick hands and great reflexes if we think just how many steal he has and how fast he can steal the ball from defender
Mj wasnt a fan of tomahawk and windmill dunks...i think he can do it pretty easy...thats why hes a very effective scorer because he doesnt do anything fancy to show off, just scoring in a very accurate, efficient and easy way...
Yeah, he basically stopped doing anything other than a basic dunk to help conserve energy as he got older. He was all about having enough fuel in the tank to get through the playoffs. No matter how little energy it might help save, he was all about the rings.
Still got too many dunks in this last dance yr. He still the mvp so he could have won additional rings those following years have they all not break the team
