The GOAT's movements are perfection. Power, elegance, grace, style - still mesmerizing to watch after all these years. I watch more MJ games on youtube than today's NBA. No one else has skills enough for me to care to watch that much.

Anyone who questions the GREATEST of them all all you have to do is watch nobody ever will be as great as MJ period!!

Well it's not how someone plays on the floor alone that makes them the GOAT. If he didn't have the accomplishments to go with it then he wouldn't be the GOAT, so I sort of disagree with your sentiment that all you have to do is watch to know he's the greatest. It doesn't really work that way. I mean I know what you mean. You can tell by watching him that he has some of the best skills ever is your point, but like I said it's his accomplishments that make him the GOAT.

Even after carrying the scoring and defensive load all game, Jordan was still strong as a Bull (no pun intended) in Double OT with the And 1 at 7:14!!

At 3:00 listen to the crowd after he dunks it.. wtf?? it sounds like they are at home. He was a fan favorite in opposing arenas... no one is really like that anymore.

@powerman1993tk

Michael Jordan received that kind of love from any arena he played in. Jordan was definitely the most celebrated NBA player during his reign over the NBA. That is another reason he is the GOAT. Michael Wilbon said it the best, "There are only 3 on the list," Jordan, Babe Ruth & Ali that's it, that's the list!

Mike is the GOAT! No disrespect to Kobe or Lebron but MJ is the GOAT! He retired twice! Imagine if he played 20 years with the Bulls

Jordan is like a basketball machine with no weakness and this is past his athletic prime if u put 87-93 in this era 40 7 and 7 easily no questions or more lmao GOAT look at the eye test and stats look up his bulls numbers one season broke foot another season 17 games before playoffs and retired at 30 and he had 29000 and some change in 11yrs full played the media has been looking for the next jordan for ever and u are going to never find him there will never be another player close outside of kobe rip mamba and there is a gap there GREAT OF ALL TIME NO QUESTIONS

Kobe is great and one of the greatest, but Lebron is definitely the closest to MJ now. Even with Kobe there was a pretty big gap between him and MJ. Lebron is the closest that anyone has come to MJ by far in my opinion and in my most peoples. That said, RIP Kobe one of the greatest of all time.

Yes sir!!! I watched a video of this whole game. I watched this live on TV though as well as a kid back in Nov 1997 but Jordan is truly just the GOAT. Not at his peak physically here but mentally he was a master at shot selection , reading the defense , and making his teammates better. His equal we will never see again.

This Bulls team I'm convinced could have won 2 more NBA Championships had Jerry Krause not broken this team up. Michael wasn't at his peak physically but mentally he was a master at shot selection, seeing the floor, and reading the defense. Jerry Krause should have paid Scottie Pippen and given him a new deal after this 98 season. He should have resigned MJ, Phil Jackson, and Rodman. Luc Longley , Ron Harper , Steve Kerr , Bill Winnington , Judd Buschler , Randy Brown.....Krause should have brought all of them back and this Bulls team would have defeated the Spurs in the shortened lockout 1999 season in the Finals and they would have beaten the Shaq and Kobe led Lakers in the 2000 Finals. After that it would be hard to say but Michael Jordan and this Bulls team deserved to go out on their sheilds losing in the NBA Finals at some point. Once that had happened you could say ok it's time to rebuild. That would have been so exciting seeing MJ match up with a young Kobe Bryant in the Finals. That would have been a true passing of the torch!

Completed a second 3 peat, and went out on top. I don’t think you understand how old is 35 years old in basketball years. And anything years actually, and having to compete with young guys. Pippen was injured that season and unhappy about money. I don’t think he cared about winning with Jordan and the Bulls if he wasn’t getting paid like he felt he should. And also, do you not understand how difficult it is to complete a 3 peat? The Lakers couldn’t even do it without the refs rigging the WCF series against the Kings. The Bulls didn’t need any rigging, but Michael carrying the team on his shoulders and the Bulls barely scraped a game 6 victory in Utah, thanks to Michaels graceful and heroic layup and stripping Malone in the post, followed by the game winner to ice it. It seemed miraculous the way those events in the game unfolded. But that could have gone to a game 7 in Utah easily. Point I’m making her is, Phil Jackson with the best duos in the NBA with Jordan/Pippen with the Bulls, and then Shaq/Kobe with the Lakers, could not complete a 4 peat. It’s very tiring for a team to go 3 years in a row making a run to the Finals in June, and with all the added hype and pressures surrounding it. But who knows, with both Shaq and Kobe on the Lakers, Phil Jackson could not 4 peat. Phil Jackson never had the opportunity with both Michael and Scottie to 4 peat. Could they have done it? Probably in ‘94 with them being younger and in their prime. At their peak on the way out in ‘99, with Michael turning 36 and Scottie 33. Also Dennis Rodman’s play had begun to slightly decline that season in the last dance and I believe he who was older than Michael and Scottie had gave the last bit he had left in his basketball tank. Only NBA players who are world class athletes to still go strong even after aging a bit are Michael Jordan and Lebron James, but Michael was winning and leading his team, stronger and wiser even though losing some of that quickness and leaping ability, but them losing a step is still better than 99% of the NBA players, plus they are mentally greater and smarter and more dominate than 100% players when they’re locked in. But Lebron is mostly just stat stuffing, he’s not really passionate about winning like Michael. I’m just saying, they’re like the only ones who kept playing at a high level even after reaching their early to mid 30’s, when most basketball players already lost the motivation to stay in shape and perform at a high level once they turned 30. Also, remember, some teams generally speaking will have players who do kind of lose motivation to win championships, and it becomes less exciting for them to win the whole thing. Maybe not Jordan, but the rest of them might get tired or bored, and not care to win so they can go home to their families and enjoy their lives and their money, and rest from the aches and pains from playing basketball. A lot of these actually show just how impressive those Chicago Bulls teams were able to complete not just 1, but 2 3 peats. For a team to even win a couple of championships together, a lot of things have to go right, with good health and no injuries and team chemistry, every player embracing their roles, and motivation and ext.. Nice discussing basketball with you. God Bless 🇺🇸

In reality, he did. That specific 1997 team, although an all time great defensive team, provided Jordan with the least amount of offensive support in NBA Finals' history. Only Pippen scored in double digits, and he shot awfully.
