TheRuthless999 agreed. no one can ever dominate like MJ. how can people compare LeBron? it's so disrespectful..
@blackadam06
@blackadam06 7 лет назад
+Derek McFarland "how can people compare LeBron? it's so disrespectful." They do it for a reason. The league and it's affiliates (i.e., the ESPN's of the world), KNOW that anything/anyone attached to MJ's name, will IMMEDIATELY create a buzz. And that translates into ratings for their stories (and publicity for themselves). Which in the end, will ultimately wind up selling their product (i.e., their show), the NBA game, and that particular player. And that's ultimately the league's PRIMARY objective. The problem with all of this however, is that it fuels the utter stupidity and juvenile ignorance of these idiot Y2K/millennial fanboys, that can OFTEN be seen in the comment sections of videos such as this one.

Kobe was similar in scoring. He took worse shots though. Plus MJ was more athletic, better passer, higher basketball IQ, better defender, etc.

Yeah MJ didn't take a lot of bad shots, he took tough shots at times but rarely took flat out bad shots. He was also stronger.

This is how a professional athlete conducts an interview. He doesn't call himself the best player in the world. He doesn't act like he's never been there and done that. He scored with such ease, like he was toying with the Heat. He didn't stare people down or mean mug after scoring.

Beautiful work of art when Michael Jordan was on the court. 23 years later watching these games over again and still no one has posessed the game MJ had. You can watch Jordans game in the late 1980's and just how dominate he was compared to the rest of the league. I always thought it was amazing that going into his 30's he was able to change and master his game to still be better then anyone in the NBA. Even at 35 years old Michael Jordan was the best player in the NBA. Then he retires a 2nd time and comes back to play for the Wizards. Goes from shooting guard to small forward and still shows at 38 to 40 years of age he was still one of the top 12 players in the league. Averaging 22 ppg at the age 38 and threw down another 50+ point game. Truly the best to ever play basketball.

Baseline turnaround fade-away out of bounds and almost behind the backboard and swoosh... The most beautiful move in the game of basketball, and MJ has done it many times.

wwbdwwbd - that was his go to shot - spin baseline behind the backboard to neutralize the double and triple teams. And he made them consistently from both sides. He truly was incredible.

I like the comment from Jordan at the end, that he's trying to get Assistant Coach Frank Hamblen a ring because he was the only one on the team that didn't have one. As it turns out, Hamblen ended up with one more ring than Jordan (Jordan got him 2 with the Bulls, and he got 5 with the Lakers).

First time i've heard him say his proper weight. I've heard in a video with his trainer that he was 212 for the '93 season, In this video he says 219 for the 95/96 season and dropped back to 209 for 96/97. He looked back up to 220ish for 97/98. By Wizards years, he must have been around 235-240, he was much heavier looking by the eye test.
