Michael had a Superbike team for 10 years and only had one win in Superbike class,did a little better in Super sport class but pulled out do to sponsors backing out,if he thought motorcycle racing was expensive without sponsors due to lack of performance just wait until he is trying to get sponsors after a year of finishing an average of 25th because that’s what Bubba does.
What happened to hiring the most qualified driver not based on race religion creed or nationality. Partnering with JGR i have to wonder if Joe Gibbs has rocks in his head ? I have a feeling every car and on-track issue will be dealt with using the race card . This deal is more about Denny, not Bubba. Wait and see if Denny will be in that car in 2022. Denny's trying to be like Tony Stewart--owner/driver. Needs all he can get to get himself into the NASCAR Hall of Fame. He's about as likeable as a pimple on one's behind!
When he started the bike team, he hired a buddy (black) from the local street riding scene to ride the bike. He was the best rider MJ had ever seen and was sure they’d win quickly. 1st race and his bike is nowhere near competitive and they spend two years trying to get their guy a decent finish before finally hiring an actual pro rider to get some results and dial in the bikes. Local guy, God Bless him, never got close to fast enough to hang consistently. I figured they’d fold WAY before they did, but they got some wins at the Superbike level and would have to be called a success overall at the end of the deal. Bubba won’t make it, but they’ll find somebody that can win and see how it goes.

How does someone become an “up and coming icon”? That said, I am a huge fan of MJ and love to see him enter the sport. Also, I have a lot of respect for Denny, but their choice of driver, although I understand the motivation behind it, makes no sense. I truly believe MJ as always wants to win, just not sure Bubba can get him there.
Bubba has been in a car that only has the funding to run top25. He has overperformed the car, but it’s been inconsistent. He needs to perform next year if he will live up to the hype. I believe he’s developed enough to do so.

I've been an avid NASCAR fan since 1998. Everyone in these comments need to look at when Aric Almirola's avg finish with RPettyMotorsports(normally a mid-20th place ride), and now WINNING RACES and scooping top 10s with SHR. And frankly based on the 2020 season finishes, Aric is NOT the driver Bubba is. Bubba runs similar and even better in short tracks than teams with MILLIONS higher budget.
Jordan can’t lose either way with a “Team Owner” Gamble in NASCAR. He has an infamously guaranteed security blanket with the assets in his portfolio. This is like playing the weekly lottery for him. If he wins he wins, if he’s out it’s no big deal. Yeah I’d most definitely drive for MJ Motorsports.

Our local dirt track had spectator eliminator race’s at the end where you can bring out your personal car and race someone else for one lap. It’s awesome.

A lot of hate going on in here, not towards MJ but Bubba Wallace. This isn’t MJ’s first racing venture, he had Superbike team in the old AMA championship and also fielded an African American racer to start. Once things got serious and the team kept finishing l last place on one of the fastest bikes dude was replaced by two riders with more experience and lighter skin 🤷🏽♂️ I hope Bubba Wallace is able to finish races respectably.
