I would imagine most of the time when players were starting fights with MJ it was to try and get MJ ejected (Even if that meant getting yourself ejected as well) because sacrificing yourself to get MJ out of the game gave your team a shot at actually winning the game.

I was so fortunate/lucky to grow up in this era. Best basketball ever! Hands down. Still haven't been into basketball the same since. Was it too good? Was I spoiled? I think so. I know I'm not alone.

There always was some incident back then. Jordan had enemies everywhere, the Bulls were the envy of everyone and there were some really good competitive teams with insanely competitive guys in them, the Bulls always rose up.

That first clip was great. Miller was one of the greatest trash-talkers ever, yet he lost his mind when confronted by Jordan and was left with nothing but a physical confrontation. Basketball just hasn’t been the same without MJ, and I rarely even watch it any more. I still like catching the ESPN Classic games though.
