@@hazzyg11 so you must be a dumbass LeBron sorry ass supporter! Now that's a dumbfuck ass player. MJ learned from his idol, DrJ, Kobe's idol is MJ, Lebron is just a sorry ass excuse for a talented baller thinking he can do it all!
@@justjd9897 MJ and Kobe Fuck you up too! Who's the fool now. Ain't hating, Bron's just a whiny ass bitch. If MJ and Kobe are bitches, whose your go to guy? All three of them fuck me up but I'm not Bron hating just telling it
@@judejamesrupiny4378 1. This isn't a boxing ring so why tf would lebron fight 2. The nba now is more strict in fouls than at Michael's time, he got away with that reggie miller fight but now he would've immediately got ejected 3. Lebron would kick micheal jordans ass in an actual fight
DaMon Gunn G.O.A.T. doesn't mean Greatest Some Far, it means Greatest Of ALL TIME, so technically you cannot be dethrone when you have been crowned greatest of all time.
i agree but if lebron was in this east level time he would have 0 titles but yet refs rigged lebrons tittles and jordan earned his as im a spurs fan saying this
adrenaline your comment is complete stupidity if your statement was true jordan wouldnt have got dominated by players before him as when jordan entered the nba hr was showing his great leaping ability to score over anyone inbhis way etc. but got better in his prime as it takes a team to get better but no i live though the 1990's as a teenager watching jordan bulls as jordan just like bruce lee had to master the sport to become a basketball legend or martial arts legend lmao
@@kevinp665 no, it's not a joke. It's an argument bronsexuals use and act like players like Dominique Wilkins, Magic, and Hakeem Olajuwan never existed.
BloodoperaBlackvomit That's right, survival of the fittest..can't be too nice or punked out there or else they would've played the mental hate card game all day on him...that's why Mj always answered the trash talk verbally in combination with embarrassing them when it counted most.
It was great! I was born in the 80 lived in the northern suburbs of Illinois during most of the Jordan era and it was great my grandparents took me to a few bulls games too. The air Jordans, bulls pullover starter jacket.. Look at it this way though, I'm in my 40's and you're probably only in your 20's...lol
Jordan would have made lebron his bitch I mean lebron can't even stop the MAMBA!! Kobe field goal % when he plays against LeBron: Over 50% LeBron field goal % when he plays against Kobe: Less than 30%
@@Youngdanny45 I don't see anyone flopping here..🤔, I'm sure players did back then, but not like today...and bro the NBA now is so fuckin soft lmao it's pathetic
Stop the whole AAU movement and shut that shit down and let kids start playing for they high school again like they used to and you’d get that back bro. Shit LBJ balled with his lifetime friends until he went to the NBA.
+MrAlmiranda that's a joke, right? A few of the players from the '84 draft alone are probably better than anybody currently playing the game. Absolutely ridiculous to say the golden age of basketball had less talent than the current iteration of the league.
Cameron Lattz then explain why its called The Golden Age maybe im not gonna object that but i want to read facts and know who im talking to, any nostalgic fan can say that and look good.
MrAlmiranda Alright, the 80s-90s was about tough defense - the current league emphasizes offense above all else. The "Jordan Rules" were about double teaming Jordan, forcing him to move around, and (quote) "nailing" him every time he got around you. That would be a foul in today's game. Today, the best players are LeBron, or Curry, or Harden-types: players who really aren't great at defense, and really rely on not being challenged (watch LeBron vs Kawhi or Iguedala). They are just dangerous from any point in the half-court, and that's all that matters in today's game. It's why you have Kobe Bryant, who is at best a top 10 player, scoring 81 points in game - offensive players have little to fear, defensive-wise, because the rules have been changed to make it easier to score.
Cameron Lattz it makes sense but those days the philosophy of game was a physical game and mid-court game because the lack of players who played facing the basket and shot creators, there were Olajuwon,Ewing,Barkley,Malone, etc. and the majority of superstars played back to the basket except obviously Jordan,Pippen.Dominique and not more of 5 players aditionally with the size, because of that NBA allowed bully game from teams like Knicks,Portland,Seattle,Pacers,Utah(running on a straight line to the basket like a freight train and no offensive fouls would be called) and obviously Pistons to make it more competitive you said offensive players have little to fear basketball is a finesse sport not football and a foul its a foul no matter if you are The Undertaker or Michael Jackson on todays game its almost impossible stop the crossover dribbles of 70% of players who use it and the 3 point game its a must for all 5 players, those days Tim Hardaway brought a single crossover to the league and everybody was amazed this days today almost every players on backourt are shot creators with double the size than those Isiahs,Dumars, etc. i dont understand why you said that Lebron is not good at defense maybe another hater i don´t know but defense those days on backourt was easier especially when you are 6´6,6´7,6´10 (Jordan,Pippen,Harper,Kukoc,Shaw,Buechler, etc.)and the other good players were 6´3 because the bigger ones didn´t have slashing ability,no quick first step and most of the time spot up shooters,Lebron has to guard night in night out on perimeter good players from team 1 thru 30 and people forget he is a small forward who doesn´t have a defensive octopus like Pippen as teammate .Golden Era maybe, the system not the players made it that way, todays referees suck of course, but talentwise todays talent is waaay superior because 3 points is better than 2 when comes from backourt and we still have Cousins,Griffin,M.Gasol,Howard,Faried, even Lebron(because had the physique to adapt),etc. who would´ve played that bully game also en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triangle_offense
MJ's comment at the end there says it all. While you are talking trash you have to still be able to play the game well otherwise you are just running your mouth and the best players could still play their game while talking trash.
I would imagine most of the time when players were starting fights with MJ it was to try and get MJ ejected (Even if that meant getting yourself ejected as well) because sacrificing yourself to get MJ out of the game gave your team a shot at actually winning the game.
the refs always taking MJ away (and only him) to protect him from getting any more Ts, therefore keeping him in the game. Every other player gets pulled away by a teammate, not MJ.
@@thegreatestfinesser2338 41% is Kobe's Finals career average, and Gary hitched a ride from the Heat's bench to get just one ring. Both hardly anything to brag about.
You can see the young fans of the game who think the current era even compares to back then. Real basketball, physical with some trash talking and minus all these soft cocks on super teams. The powderpuff league now is so pathetic to watch. 3's or drives. No proper inside out game and flopping galore.
If NBA fans across the country are calling MJ the G.O.A.T. after his first 3-peat, would you as a ref try to eject him from a game? He even showed up Mutumbo by dedicating an "eyes closed" foul shot to him after Mutumbo had fouled him, and made sure he was paying attention.
I was so fortunate/lucky to grow up in this era. Best basketball ever! Hands down. Still haven't been into basketball the same since. Was it too good? Was I spoiled? I think so. I know I'm not alone.
An era where not only did players go after the #1 but the #1 went after other players. NBA was so much more fun back then and I’m glad I got to see before the NBA became watered down
well the first part was towards Reggie Miller not Micheal Jordan, Reggie miller always had something to say especially to the New York Knicks. He even trash talked Spike Lee back when the playoffs were happening between New York and Indiana
There always was some incident back then. Jordan had enemies everywhere, the Bulls were the envy of everyone and there were some really good competitive teams with insanely competitive guys in them, the Bulls always rose up.
lol at Payton's face. He trolling everyone before there was internet. 😁 But the Knicks-Bulls series in the first half of the 90's where always fun to watch a lot competitive and you feel there is genuine animosity between players similar to the Bulls-Pistons in late 80's A lot of tough Knicks that can push Jordan's buttons then Anthony, Starks, X McDaniels.
2 person that you dont want to piss off in the history of the nba... bird and mj. hurt them be dirty and any other shit.. they will light you up! but i miss the old days! they play hard and this woudlve been an ejection today...
MJ was quick as hell on his feet when he fell down @ 4:00. for some reason it gave me a vibe that he knows how to box. ay but, that’s prolly just the weed talking 😂
Faerwing66 Plus one is a normal call even when a player is fouled while doing the last two steps (without dribble) before a shot. Knowing MJ can dunk from 15 ft away...
Jordan always was ready to put hands up.. Seen how Pip had that shook look on his face when the Xman McDaniel was in his face... missing them games. Jordan was fearless!!
That first clip was great. Miller was one of the greatest trash-talkers ever, yet he lost his mind when confronted by Jordan and was left with nothing but a physical confrontation. Basketball just hasn’t been the same without MJ, and I rarely even watch it any more. I still like catching the ESPN Classic games though.
