Its an OPM Original Pilipino Music that was popularized here in the Philippines in the late 90s by the band South Border. I dont see any original members of the band in here anymore but it was during my high school days that it was super popular in here and now im 37 yrs old and was amazed by this recent performance / rendition of this song. The original singer of this song is a Filipino band called SOUTHBORDER. The original was so good too. It's epic. I wish you could watch their video during live show. But it's hard to get a good quality video because it's a bit of an old song.

this acoustic genre was the "in" thing in the Philippines during the early to mid 2000s. I was a young 20 year old plus then and my office mates and I would hang around bars to watch live music during the weekends. South Border the original band singers behind this song was just one of those bands. Also a lot of the Filipino acoustic songs made then were in English. A other Filipino band aside from South Border making good acoustic music is Freestyle.
