It is absolutely criminal that Jason Alexander didn't win an emmy, he pulled off double duty. He convinced us he was the product of Frank and Estelle Costanza while at the same time showing us Larry David. The best of the 4.
I never got this..I know of many celebrities who have said much, much worst things who are still big stars today. He even apologised, whereas other celebrities have not. I think he let it consume him instead of moving on and up.
Michael is a legend and a comedy genius. Anyone who keeps going on about that infamous tirade of his, just doesn't have the brains to forget about it. That was a moment of anger triggered by hostility from others. Michael said he regretted the whole thing. Forgive and forget.
it did show something about his character though. his whole apology was super weird, and just made it all even worse. I'm sure he realized that himself.
If a fat man was calling me names and putting me down I might call him a fat pig or something worse, but that doesn't mean that I hate fat people just because their fat. Everybody when angry had said something that they regret and don't really mean
@@greenrobot5 It's called heckling, and every comedian experiences it. But no other comedian has implied that those who say they're not funny should be lynched in a tree.
@@petemorbius3936 The fact that the whole seinfeld cast didn't win every year shows the awards are bullshit. Look at music awards; dumbass pop is what wins the awards. not classical or jazz. Award winning is no indication of quality.
Had to be Kramer. Always Kramer. This guy Michael Richards may be the most serious minded person on the planet, but he indeed is the funniest! His facial expressions, his hair, his stance. He doesn't even have to open his mouth. 😄🥰
This could have TOTALLY happened on Seinfeld, but of course it would have been: the award for 'Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series' goes to Cosmo Kramer as Stephen Snell on Murphy Brown.
richards is an incredibly talented actor and comedian. In my opinion, he has done more than enough to repent for what he said- and to me, half of that whole racis situation were people milking baing in the spotlight for all it was worth.
“You know my friend bob saccamano? Well he called last night about 3 am and we got to talkin. He sells russian hats down at battery park.... for 40 bucks”
From VARIETY,, the next day... And, the “mentor.” Dr. Robert Stein, whom Michael Richards (Kramer of “Seinfeld”) thanked in his acceptance speech, is a “longtime family friend,” a Jungian analyst who works with Richards in helping him develop the psychology and spirituality of roles he plays. Stein has acted like a philosopher-adviser to the thesp. The talented Richards is paged for the bigscreen by Steven Spielberg and Peter Chelsom on “Seinfeld’s” next hiatus .....
If anything, Seinfeld is the supporting character. Richards should have been nominated and won for lead actor! He is probably the greatest comedic TV actor of all time. An exceptional successor to the likes of Buster Keaton, Jacques Tati, and Jackie Chan in physical comedy, and he was great with his dialogue delivery as well.
Kramer was amazing but he was also signed up with the freemasons so you know. George also deserved an award. Michael's work is professional and he gives his 200% though.
+HSAdestroy yeah, i got surprised too... I wonder how did he feel about the episode on Seinfeld which was about mocking the mentor's stuff and whatever you all know the episode xD
im black and i just started watching seinfeld a couple months ago... even though what richards did was ridiculously racist, i cant deny he is a funny dude.. at least in seinfeld he is
