Venom, in my opinion, not a great movie, but a PERFECT representation of the goofy, edgy ass 90's character. It's just not what most people think Venom should be like, but he was always kind of a silly character. Movie is still a 4/10 imo
I love the Venom movie. The first one. I don’t know why it gets so much hate, because it actually made me laugh. That’s more than what I can say for Venom’s last live-action appearance.
I love Venom, I think it’s just really fun if you don’t take it too seriously. Venom: Let There Be Carnage was kinda mid overall, but the final battle made up for the rest of the movie. And Spider-Verse is the GOAT
i mean shit you like what you wanna like. i personally find them garbage especially the second film, but if you like it then thats all that matters innit ;)
@@HirstMovies I like ‘em because it’s obvious in the first one they were trying to hard to make it dark and gritty but in the second they really Embraced the bromance between venom and Eddie, also thx for letting me have my opinion, I usually get attacked for saying I like the films
@@nasbukhari696 I mean, I don't read Marvel comics and I've never heard of Carnage before Venom 2. Maybe that's why I didin't care about him, I didin't see him as a wasted character, just not interesting villain dude, plus Eddie and Venom dynamic are the only reason I like this movie in the first place
I don't get the hate for the venom movie sure they're dumb movies but they're fun dumb movies and some people forget that venom had funny/silly moments in the comics. Especially Let there be carnage which in my opinion was a love letter to silly and edgey comic of the 90s
its not always about comics. comics are different to movies. some stuff you can get away with in comics like costumes etc but in live action ya cant. take for example idk scarlett witch's costume perhaps...in comics it looks too sexually exploiting so in live action they had to ya know over up some shit. its the same principles as like idk caps ears not being on his helmet (yes they were on the OG 40's suit but that doesnt count) because it looks goofy. these characters are meant to be taken seriously etc . i do understand what you're saying and in some parts i do agree its just not always.
Venom and Venom 2 need to be switched. I actually enjoyed the first Venom as a good "turn your brain off" movie. The sequel was just cliche and painful. Even the end credit scene couldn't save it because it never became relevant in No Way Home.
