No, you're not alone. It was the first cinema experience I had with a group of friends from school at the time. Ben, Ryan, Ed, Phil - Ed's cousin - and myself. And let's just say it was one of the best experiences of my life; especially when Vision picked up Thor's hammer and we all looked at each like "Holy shit!"
This is the best one of these in this trend by far. You actually went out of the way to use different clips than just the peach syrup one. A true Michael Rosen connoisseur. Appreciate the effort.
I wish Age of Ultron didn’t receive so much hate. Ultron was great on screen, and I feel like all the criticism he gets is meant to be a backhanded compliment “He’s just Tony Stark but evil” Ok, so a well written character with amazing Charisma who perfectly parallel’s the hero? Suddenly thats bad storytelling? “He’s too campy and feels like a cartoony villian” So are we just gonna pretend that the MCU aims to be as gritty and edgy as the Dark Knight Trilogy? And that Gotg isn’t also Campy and Cartoonish? “He wasn’t accurately portrayed” This is the only thing I’ll give them, but lets be honest if he was accurately portrayed, he would’ve won in the end with the Amount of Avengers we had at the time. Thats like blaming Thanos if he was in the first Avengers movie and he lost Like you can not like the film, but I don’t understand how you can consider it bad. Especially since it sets up Civil War, Ragnorok, and establishes events that effect a large number of character motivations throughout phase 2 and 3
I just watched it again and I have to say it was excellent. The only part that bored me was the romance between banner and widow which was just executed badly. Vision's introduction was perfect.
I was expecting the last one to be where he drank the cooking oil instead of the peach syrup, because that was exactly what my movie experience was like
Two things 1. This is almost exactly the same as my opinions, except I liked Age of Ultron quite a bit. 2. I don’t quite understand his reaction to Multiverse of Madness. Does he like it or not?
I just can't get behind the movie depiction of Ultron, like 99% of the movie-going audience I haven't read the comics so I'll admit I don't *really* know his character, but, while I understand he is meant to be the inverse of the now-fighting-for-what's-right Tony, he comes off so Cartoonishly Evil, even on subsequent rewatches, and after watching multiple breakdowns by channels to try and better inform myself I can't help but role my eyes everytime he is on screen. The rest of the cast is totally fantastic in their roles and actions throughout the movie, I just wish Ultron was even a *sliver* more like he was in What If, he would be a far more intimidating villain for the heroes to fight and would really sell the threat that Thanos really is to our Heroes, making Tony's attempted fix for Thanos absolutely brutal and going to any lengths to "evolve" humanity in order to, in his own mind, give us even a fighting chance against the Mad Titan, as he says: "If Humanity wants to survive, it has to evolve".
@@mrrobotvoice8321 Do you know what "underrated" means ? xd Transfromers made tons of money too, doesn't make them well rated movies lol. You can say Age of Ultron overperformed at the box office but if you go by the ratings it's underrrated imo. It should be 9/10 when many people I see give it a 6/10. Get it?
@@zzodysseuszz again...for me it's underrated. Since, I did have prior knowledge of comics, leaks, rumors, early movies and everything else. I get why people haven't liked it back then. (maybe ven now but hey, I loved it)
It’s kind of a mess though. It kinda sidelined Doctor Strange in his own movie for America Chavez, who didn’t really have much character, and Scarlet Witch, who had some insane over the top motivations and kind of bad writing. It had some good moments (such as Zombie Strange) but was underwhelming imo
@@matthewtaylor1785 1. Its that mess that makes the movie so wacky and entertaining to watch 2. America chavez was just a plot device, i do think she got too much screentime but it wasnt enough of a problem to affect my enjoyment
@@rhysburns5420 I dunno, I was not a huge fan of the holland spiderman movies, no way home was good, far from home is my least favorite mcu film and homeciming is meh
@@rhysburns5420 Terminator 2, Spider-Man 2, Toy Story 2, Alien 2, The Empire Strikes Back (i know it's episode V but you get it) : are we a joke to you ?
Now for the shows WandaVision: Started out nice, ended in a mess. TFAWS: Decent but not perfect. Loki: Bit weird but ok. What If: I forgot this one even existed. Moon Knight: A show as confused about it's identity as it's main character. Ms. Marvel: A happy meal but without a toy.
Iron Man 3 and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 are take of the most underrated Marvel films ever. Also, where are the Sam Raining Spider-Man trilogy, TASM 1 & 2, and the Venom movies?
You’re the first person who seems to agree with my opinion on Captain Marvel and Eternals. Everyone I know kind of likes Captain Marvel and SLIGHTLY dislikes Eternals. In my opinion, with Captain Marvel, I don’t like it very much, and with Eternals, well, it was horrible.
@@jBread28 My biggest issue with the film is a shitty personality-less unlikeable main character who is the perfect example of dumb “feminist” overpowered boring female characters in Hollywood, but I guess the rest of it was ok I don’t care enough to try and remember though.
I would describe Eternals as really dense. There's so much lore in the movie that it requires several viewings to understand it all. Pretty much the effect you get when one movie introduces ten new main characters all at once.
The eternals was absolute garbage, when I went to the theater to watch it, only one person clapped at the end and then stopped because no one else was.
@@MattsMovieMadness well yes technically not, but I still feel like they could've atleast been mentioned since venom eventually got after the events of venom 2 and morbius is to eventually get in with vulture, no hate I just feel like they deserve as much fame as the Marvel movies in the MCU, this video was still great though
S Tier: Winter Soldier, GotG, Infinity War A Tier: First Avenger, Thor Ragnarok, Endgame, No Way Home, Iron Man 1, Homecoming B Tier: Age of Ultron, Ant-man, Doctor Strange, Iron Man 2, GotG 2, Black Panther, Civil War, Far From Home, Multiverse of Madness, Love and Thunder, Avengers 1 C Tier: Thor 1, Iron Man 3, Shang Chi D Tier: Incredible Hulk, Black Widow, Ant-man and the Wasp F Tier: The Dark World, Captain Marvel, Eternals my personal opinion, share yours if you want
I would put black panther, shang chi and avengers 1 in A-tier, endgame in S-tier and move the first avenger down to B-tier, other than that I pretty much agree
@@justindai8401 i didnt really like shang chi because the movie was full of cliches and shang chi was basically a merry sue, like, how did he learn a move that is supposedly a legendary move just by training for a few hours and having a enlighting flashback? and i feel like a lot of characters were wasted such as the masked guy and the super corny final boss who was supposed to be this "world ending threat" but wasnt impactful at all.
@@DolchiStudio it was very cliche. I enjoyed Multiverse of madness far more than Shang Chi… don’t get me wrong it was decent, but could’ve been better.
I thought Captain Marvel and Eternals were ok; not great, just ok. My favorites though are Ragnarok, Endgame, the Spider-Man trilogy, the Ant-Man movies, and GOTG.
AOU just fell into pool of mud, and lost it's direction. I do like James Spader as Ultron though, the only problem is, is that they deviate from the comic's and make Ultron a robot tony stark as opposed to an actual robot who doesn't understand the concept of human emotion (why does he emote), which isn't something I like too much (If you couldn't tell). Sure he's funny, but where's the danger? I mean it happens, but how am I supposed to take him seriously as a threat if he keeps cracking jokes every 2 seconds. To think Quicksilver...lost his life...to that💀. A 16 year old girl in the body of a robot, that's Ultron summarised. I think I know why it really sucked though...Joss Whedon.
Well thats what marvel is now, making jokes every 2 minutes and relying on cameos and hyping the next movie without giving satisfaction for the one we just watched
