It isn't the best America can offer. It isn't even the best that the parties can offer. And it wasn't last time either, or the time before that or the time before that. But they are the choices the parties want us to have. There's an "election" going on right now in Iran; a country which is supposed to be an enemy and one which, we are told, is the opposite of everything we are and everything we supposedly stand for. Yet every single candidate in that election had to be approved by a "Guardian Council." So how is what we're doing different from that in any meaningful way?

What I found infuriating was when Biden said no service members have lost their lives on his watch. I wonder if the families of the 16 fallen service members from the Afghanistan withdrawal were infuriated too.
