I chuckle at the negative comments, such as he missed the b flat or not using cathedral tones (huh?) or this role is not for you, or where's the pianissimi, etc. Hellooo, critics, this is not even a dress rehearsal. I feel damn lucky somebody was there with a recording device for my free pleasure. A singer is not pumped up until the actual performance before he delivers his artistic best. Just be grateful you heard this much.
Good sound. DO not go further on heavy roles. Voice like yours singing Donizetti's heros, Bellini or, even Mozart you cannot listen nowdays. I think in princpial roles of Verdi this must be your heaviest. I admire the people english spoken language because I think is harder for you to pronounce. You do it very well but keep working specially on your "R" like in PERIGLIO and don't be afraid saying the latin "i".. is like your "e". Good
