I saw this movie when I was a teenager and I was impressed with what our choices and attitudes can do, today I am an adult I made many choices and some irreversible ones, I left some people behind and along this path I already lost my father and some family members but I continue strong and moving forward. that's life. if you read this never give up
I saw this movie the first time with my parents. it didn't have such a big impact back then. I've since then seen this movie atleast 20 times. As I grew older and just living through life.. It changed me. So, whom ever made this masterpiece.. I wish you were praised more often... If I ever feel nothing again, I will come *back* and watch this movie.
It's so beautiful. And the whole entire story makes you think about things you've done and what would have happened if you didn't do those things. What if you never was born? Would your friends be the same? Would your brother act the same? Would the world even make sense without you? I guess you'll never know. Or will you?
+Laila aljaaidi I remember when I first saw this movie. I saw it with my parents the same year it came out, but it wasnt until I fully respected the movie after I lost my GF a few years after I saw this movie, and now I cannot help watching this movie everything something bad have happpened to me, and this song always makes me cry :(
It's lovely one off my best movies. I can't even coment how good it was. He did everything, but everything wasn't enough. It goes to show this film was about looking out to people you love without changing your own future. We can change our future, (no you can) love this film xx and there's different endings 😉
I just tried to watch this movie(again)after a year since I last saw it, and so soon I knew this scene was coming up I couldn't hold it togeather any more, It's such a sad movie :(
Although there are sad parts, I don’t see it as a sad movie. I see Evan loving Kaleigh so much that he was willing to let her go if it meant a better life for her. It was a story of a selfless man trying to improve things and at the end he puts himself aside for the betterment of others. They might have been able to have a wonderful life together after crossing paths at the end but he didn’t want to chance it so he sacrificed his love for her for her benefit.
I heard this music used on another youtube video, and I have been searching FOREVER for it. Literally watching The Butterfly Effect right now, after probably 10 years, and it just came on. SO HAPPY! Amazing tune.
This movie made me realize to live your life without hurting anybody and to live your life to the maximum because it's not turning back to fixed our mistakes. It's sad but it's the truth. Who made this theme because is a masterpiece. I love it..❤❤❤
which ending (there are two versions). I prefer the one which isn't director's cut. where he tells the girl he doesn't want to see her anymore. The director's cut one is where he strangles himself as a fetus.
... the Movie made me realize, have we could have change a persons future, just by an single decision, that's why i wish that i could save the people i lost, just by not existing.. i would have made that sacrifice, just so they could live happily :'( but i cant...
“If I was so wonderful, why didn’t you call me? Why did you just leave me here to rot?!” “What did you say to my sister last night? She called me for an hour, crying… She fucking killed herself! She’s dead. And so are you!”
I have got to say, this is by far the best movie I have ever seen, everything about it just fits, and makes sense, when its over you just get such a touching, warm feeling, and it just gives off this wonderful vibe, and the music is so beautiful and amazing
Otra pieza en donde te encuentro primo, aún te llevo día a día en mi corazón, donde quiera que esté tu energía nunca serás olvidado hermano, algún día estaremos juntos por siempre y un día más, vuela libre hermano
The one where he commits suicide in the womb? I once watched that ending on RU-vid, and I was horribly upset by it. And that was entirely without context; I hadn't even seen the movie, and I still haven't.
+Emper0rH0rde I believe I saw that one aswell, but I actually bought the DVD and watched it that way.. as much as I like this movie the orignal way is "better" and more capturing.
I have been looking for this song for years now. My ex-girlfriend walked away with my copy of the CD and I haven't been able to find another copy since. Now that I live outside of the US it's even harder... thanks for posting this up. I used to listen to this over and over for hours.... it's so... beautiful.
@TristanVocalCovers If I wasn't born, nothing would change in my world. I would have no affect on anyone. I love this movie. It brought tears to my eyes. The music is so hauntingly beautiful. Great film.
yes yes ! my favourite sample of all time...favourite theme 1:00 u guys might wanna try some other songs which used this sample of this masterpiece like "Flutterby by Philter", or "This Space by Royskopp" :D
I grew up since when the movie came out and became older. And all these years, i have lost friends, family and pets and this song has been the only song that helps me through a grief.
