Michelin Ltx m/s 2 tire cracking 

The date code is 2016... tire is going on 6 years now. Can't complain too much

I 10 years Yokohama , it’s crack like the one on the video but still going on strong

It happens. It’s a 5 year old tire. If it’s been sitting out side in sun it will be worse. BFG is owned by Michelin btw. It’s an rv so she will get u before miles.

Same problem with my Michelin ltx’s. Build date 2017 and 15 thousand miles.

Same problem here , Michelin tires always crack. Going back to BFG TA,s.

It's the age of the tire. Your tire should be replaced. They can last up to 70,000 miles with rotation, regular use and proper storage. Tires should be replaced at about 6 years regardless of mileage. Cracking is due to drying and age.

That's Michelin in a nutshell.......car is gotta be driven constantly, it's got compounds that lube and prevent cracking.....also keep out of sunlight if possible.....lots of other tires would not be cracking under similar conditions, but like I said, that's Michelin......those tires gotta go man
