@@turbonbike6413 Yeah the are but that don't mean you gotta go upside their head, remember he's got daughters too! I'm sure he won't like someone laying hands on them!
Alex Skywalker he knows People are more motivated by hate than love. For that reason he puts on a show to get people to pay to watch him lose . But stated undefeated
you guys realise this is part of floyds gameplan. He doesn’t want people to like him.... the haters give him money. Thats a very hard way to live, but i guess he does it for his family
Jam SF many don’t wanna see...they comfortable in there hate....people are not one thing..not to say he’s a saint...but they make it like he’s 100 percent evil and it’s not like that
Not many people know this but out of respect for giving him his first title shot,Floyd also paid for all of Genaro Hernandez funeral expenses to help out Genaro's widow and children.
@@shantanurawat1238 That’s why it bothers me all the casuals who didn’t actually follow his career, they seen him in the spotlight all the time and figured if he was doing good things like that or helping people out he would be bragging about it but he isn’t that type of person to brag about those things. That’s literally what Pacquiao does, Pacquiao will actually have his people contact news stations and go do an article and segment on him when he does anything for anyone especially back in the Philippines and it’s ridiculous because they don’t see how fake Manny is. They think he is the nice guy when he made excuses his entire career and was 100% on steroids.
Terrell J they don't wanna know and def. Don't wanna hear that floyd does good deeds. An it will never be publicized. . Ever. . Media wud rather hear of floyd getting in trouble or some dumb shit then promote positivity. Even in its most purest form. Like this.. sad! Beautiful.gesture by floyd and the other boxers
joseph findlay He purposely leaves the media out of it. He's a smart business man, and he knows because of the domestic violence case, he'll probably never get endorsements. When you have a shit load of people who want to see you lose, about 90% will pay to see it happen. Mix that with the fans that he has, and that's a lot of money....... it pays better to be the bad guy.
I’m glad I learned this about Floyd. Not only generous with his financial support but also supportive with his personal involvement. It shows that his heart is in this.
he couldve just gave money, but money doesnt mean anything to him. He gave up his TIME for diegos daughter, when he could literally be doing anything else he wanted. mad respect
Good Karma here , you are a wonderful person to help others Michelle . We love what Diego did for the sport. There is a reason why God has blessed Floyd . Floyd does his good deeds without pounding his chest for the world to see. I know the type of guy Floyd is , he isn't the type to smile and be all goody goody yet when your ass is on the line he vanishes. To all the racist , who can't keep Floyd out their mouths , thank you Michelle Corrales for acknowledging Floyd The lesson here is that it's not just the suck asses and kiss ass yes men that are always there when you need them .
The villain is all for tv to sell fights, even looking at his behavior, once the fight is over he thanks and congratulates the other team on a great fight and wishes them the best. Even that thing with larry merchant the insults from merchant were a years standing. Larry deserved it, he still came to him an apologized.
100% agree. The great thing about Floyd is he never toots his own horn about his humanitarian efforts. Dumb people fail to realize that him showing off his money and everything is just a marketing gimmick.
Diego was a legend and I hope he gets inducted in the WORLD Boxing Hall of Fame. Zab Floyd and Shane...I forget that trio...those guys came up somewhat together right?
+WattUNeed - Not Shane. He had around 20 fights before those guys (Floyd, Zab, Diego) made their pro debut. Not too many people know or remember how Oscar was fast tracked either - champ in his 12th fight and 10 more title fights before the other guys even turned pro. And people still talking about Floyd ducking those 2 guys in their prime when they were miles apart in years, weight classes and p4p status.
marcsys Floyd must have known Shane from the Amateurs though didn't Shane fight Stevie Johnston? Shane was pro for a while yeah he was lightweight champion in 1997 with Stevie right? That was in Floyd and Zab's first year as a pro I think.
+WattUNeed - I think Shane was the oldest of that group (US '92 Olympic Team) and he lost to Vernon Forrest in the trials. He had also tried out for the 88 team. Floyd was part of the '96 team. When Floyd became champ in '98, Mosely was in the weight class above and top 10 p4p. So that's probably when Floyd first had his eye on him.
So glad to see so many videos coming out lately and showing the real side of Floyd now that he’s not in boxing. No one talked like this about him before he was retired but now you hear fans and boxers and celebrities who all praise Floyd for how great of a person he is out of the ring. He’s not like Pacquiao who has to let the world know every time he does anything just so people can praise him.
Rip Diego hell of a fighter .. man ....his wife is a strong woman love to see her honor her late husband name ...Floyd Mayweather is a true champ absolutely incredible of a gesture ...
I'm not a fan of Floyd's offensive style, but with his hand issues I can't really blame him. I can not deny his defensive prowess, mental strength and conditioning. I see his promotional strategy and even though I'm not a fan of it, I also can't deny how well it's worked for him. It's allowed him to be himself and surpass the income of any athlete without the need for endorsements. Furthermore to this, a lot people don't know that he also paid for Hernando Chicanito Hernandez' funeral out of his own pocket. Regardless of what anybody thinks or feels about his boxing style or his promotional persona, the man has character and a genuine heart. Even though I'm not his biggest boxing fan, I respect his real life character. Moreso because he doesn't go around telling people about it all the time to gain any type of recognition for it.
Jacob Sirak - lmfao... bro, your reading comprehension skills need some work. I never once said that I didn't like his defense? That would be madness?! He's one of the greatest defensive fighters in boxing history. His footwork, his ability to measure and calculate distance and timing are legendary. All I said was that AFTER he started having hand issues was when I wasn't that into him. It wasn't until I realized that he had hand issues like his Uncle Roger that I understood why he had to change his style. I even gave Floyd credit as a person for paying for Chicharito's funeral. So your assertion that I don't like anything about Floyd proves only one of two things. 1. You didn't read the whole comment or 2. You're reading skills are weak. In either case, you probably shouldn't have replied to my comment. It's usually in your own best interest to keep quiet and let people THINK that you're a fool that to get on your keyboard and remove all doubt.😉✌🏽
Jacob Sirak - Oh... I get it now. Too many big words to focus on all at one time. Makes sense. I can't hate on that. Two, two, Pee, pee, poo poo, caca? Does that help? Or is that too long of a read for you too?
@@n003326 💯 If he never would have had hand issues and was able to keep knocking people out, I bet his legacy would have been even greater than it is now. But the fact that he could make the adjustments without being the KO artist he was before his hand issues is a credit to his greatness. It's not his fault he inherited brittle hands. That's genetic. But the fact that he could overcome his genetic faults with his mind alone, who can really question his boxing IQ and abilities? Cause boxing isn't just about hitting people, it's also about distance, timing, footwork and defense. He had all that to compensate for his hand issues. That's why I can't hate on Floyd. Take away personal feelings and opinions and being totally objective, that man deserves his due. Anyone who can't put their personal feelings and opinions aside and can't see how great he is, is just in denial.
People who get pissed at boxers and MMA guys who play the role of villain when especially promoting their fights are as clueless as kids who get pissed at a wrestler who plays the villain. It's entertainment and outside of the spotlight, ring, or octagon, these same performers can have the biggest hearts ever.
I’ve met a couple of people that have had the pleasure of meeting him a few times. They say he is very humble behind the cameras. They also said he hates seeing people down and out. People get stuck on the on camera fight mode Mayweather and not the real total man that he is.
people will always talk shit bout floyd but wont name 1 single guy whose has been helping or volunteering to people in need like floyd, may God bless fam
He's not the best in his weight class no disrespect I'll give it to anyone of the boxers in the 80's starting with Sugar ray the second best Boxer in history to the Greatest of All Time Muhammad Ali.
Diego was my favorite boxer. Heart of a lion. You could never count him out of a fight. Always dangerous, from round one to twelve. Rest in peace Chico.
She still a baddie. And she knew her last name was gon carry her far even after Diego untimely passing.... much respect to Michelle for still carrying on the legacy
At the end of the day Floyd is a business man he sells himself well and has the talent to do so but he's still human and has a great heart big ups to Floyd.
+puzzle247365 lol why would a "paqtard" even care?? the guy went to a 16 yo friends daughters party........................and you be like"paqtards be like "BS! he paid her to say that!" seriously
Floyd played the heel role to perfection. Milked the game and became the most accomplished prizefighter ever. A billion dollars in a decade. No greater prize for any fighter.
WOW WOW THAT IS VERY GOOD I LOVE DIEGO CÓRRALES HE WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY AND GOD BLESS FLOY MAYWHEATHER HI IS MY FAVORITE AND HIS FAMILY AMEN 🙏🇺🇸🇮🇹🇩🇴🌻🌞🙏
One of mayweathers best fights, corrales was a true warrior, r.i.p. "Diego Corrales, nukka keep jabbin" Hats off to mayweather for being a true gentleman and he does not get enough credit for this kind of stuff. But a lot of people want to say people who dislike Floyd are racist. How can you say that when you do not know the person? that is ignorant as hell. I like a lot of black fighters, guys who fought the best, when it was the next best guy, and the boxing world naturally made the match up. Floyd as a person is a good dude, charitable, takes care of people close to him, humble and respectful to opponents, and good putting himself in other shoes and being understanding. On the other hand, Floyd does not get respect he /others feel he deserves as a boxer because he fought everyone when they were out of their prime or ducked them all together like margarito, casmayor, Paul Williams, etc. Mosley, delahoya, cotto, Marquez, paquiao etc. all our of their prime. He should have fought Mosley in 99 or early 2000s, not 15 Years later. Fought guys like gurrerro and berto (lost 3 of 4 fights before) who had no business in the ring with Floyd at that time. Berto over undefeated guys like garcia, Thurman, or guys like Khan, Pac 2, ggg at catch weight? Great technician but that's why he gets no respect from people who are not partial to him. He's great but he would get destroyed by some of the fighters he fought if he would have fought them in their prime, or in a different generation all together. Not to mention Castillo 1 , Dr la hoya, and maidana 1 he didn't do shit and got rocked a few times, de la hoya moved forward the whole time and tore his body apart. Maidana did the same and landed the better shots. Castillo outboxed him clearly in the first fight.
Your talking about rounds that fighters did good against Floyd, the problem is they had some success in the fight but Floyd won the overall fight. No fighter has 100 Percent perfection in all their fights you might look spectacular in some and not so in others. I don't buy that he waited till chalangers we're past there prime, Floyd was older than pac, Mosley, coto, canelo. He may have waited for a bigger payday But he was just as past his prime as the challenger.
Romondas Lewis also shane was 20 or more fights into his career when floyd became a pro so i never understood how people say he ducked shane when floyd as pretty boy called out shane early in his career and shane didn’t want the fight high risk low reward since floyd wasn’t a name yet
I didn't like Floyd but after knowing this it changed my mind a little bit. Can't help but respect what he done for miss Corrales 16th birthday. Good heart.
