I think this should have been her winner single instead of the throw-away "All This Time". Fantastic ballad and vocals. An underrated classic and hard to believe it's 15 years old!!
She should have gone on to bigger and better things. She's got and still has a fantastic voice. To many female singers these days think they need to show as much of there bodies as possible to get noticed rather than talent.

Some of the comments on here are just uncalled for and down right hateful. Michelle has a great voice and can out sing a lot of the female singers today. Unfortunately, today it's not about the voice but the body and how much of it you are willing to show off. Therefore, you can be a Britney or Rhianna and get airplay because you are willing to use your body to get your music played. Real talents don't need to stoop that low. That is why, at least here in the USA, the tv show The Voice has became so popular - because they are first judged only on their voice. Once the judges turn around and see the contestant, they are sometimes in for a surprise on who has such an incredible voice. I loved the whole album that Michelle released and hope for more in the future. She also did wonderful backup on the hit "Take You There" by Manran.
Get a grip man. She didn't have her career stall due to being a fat lass- she had an average voice that would have never won a show had she not had the fat factor. She got a hit single and an album that sold fairly well out of it which is more than most with her voice can manage.

In fact out of these choices the only thing with intrinsic value is money...by definition, it BUYS things. She had three singles (one with the Pop Idol contestants) that charted at 4, and her own singles charted at 1 and 7. Most singers today struggle to achieve the same success with streaming. If you listened to a pod cast she was involved with, she said soon as she won the producers and record company etc. weren't enthusiastic and it was an anti-climax. She felt as though from day 1 they could not be bothered with her and made her release the power of love as her second single, although she felt a more upbeat song would of done better. They dropped her soon as they fulfilled all contractual requirements, i.e an album and two singles. Her weight should of never been an issue, but that is why she was dropped. Her album failed because Sony BMG would of ensured it failed.
