@@michealjones3297 Michigan never lost 20 yrs in a row. It was 8 yrs in a row . Also Michigan still has the longer streak at 9 in a row. It's 60 wins for Michigan 51 for osu.
As a Penn State fan, it's amazing to see the rivalry between Michigan and Ohio State back again. Makes Big 10 more strong and certainly makes Big 10 east the toughest conference division in the country. Congratulations to the Wolverines and will be rooting for y'all in the playoffs. Go get that natty!
Me too. I got so sick of seeing Ohio State beat us year after year (for the better part of two decades) that I figured there was no point in watching the game because the outcome was a foregone conclusion. Now Michigan has not just beaten them two seasons in a row, but done so convincingly. Go Blue!
Being a Penn State fan I feel is like being an LSU fan, just that tier below of the big dogs but hey we’re always really good and if things break our way we could be that team
@@moneymase3456 You could, but the foolish powers that be in Happy Valley gave James Franklin a 10-year deal. Sorry to say, but you're not going to reach the next level with him at the helm.
I'm only a Michigan fan one day a year. Thanks, Michigan, for making it worthwhile again this year. Watching OSU fans melt down in their own toxic brew is priceless.
Honestly I think watching them lose their minds is hilarious. So many people getting just bent because a college team loses. A college that many of them didn’t even go to. Not to say you can’t be a fan if you didn’t go to a school, but I can’t imagine having it affect my life to such a point.
If you search something like "ohio state fan angry reaction".... they're in agony over this! Even the more subdued fans are alarmed by it... "something is very wrong" ... ha ha
As a BUCKEYE FAN ……MICHIGAN WELL DONE MEN!!! You were outstanding and you beat them so bad I’m not even upset….you guys totally deserve the glory !!!! Great game gentlemen!
Credit to you for showing true sportsmanship. Thank you. There is a generation of Buckeye fans that are not handling this as well as you. Will be rooting for you to beat whatever SEC team they stick you with in the bowls.
As a huge Michigan fan, and a Big Ten fan - I am elated that the rivalry is restored. It makes all of college football better. I know OSU will stay strong, even with everyone overreacting. Much respect and looking forward to next year!
@@paulfedorowicz5842 Goes right over the Buckeye's head. They still think everything revolves around them, even after being exposed as weak and soft for the second year in a row.
Happy for you Rich. As a Dawg fan, I can tell you that it’s a great feeling to kick the crap out of your rivals. I’ve got a feeling the Wolverines and Dawgs will meet again.
I hope so..The country deserves to see that game. I wish the Dawgs the best till you see us in the title game. 2 great fanbases with Michigan and Georgia
Me too. Y’all are great and defending champs. We know what you are. We did this last year and Michigan wasn’t ready yet. Hopefully they’ll be ready this time. I was glad to see you guys beat Tennessee when they shouldn’t have been #1. They had no business jumping over everybody just because they needed a last second FG to beat bama in their house. Hopefully we’ll have a better rematch if our teams take care of business.
Note that Desmond Howard predicted the fanbase would ask for Day's head if Michigan won, and Herbstreit dressed him down for that during the Gameday show. Herbie still doesn't understand his own fanbase despite receiving death threats himself from the columbus crazies. GO BLUE!
Which makes the turnaround these past two years that much sweeter. Now it’s your turn to dig out of that feeling. See ya in Ann Arbor for the three peat!
Loved your commentary, Rich. I'm a Michigan 85 alum who saw Harbaugh play. To stick it to the Buckeyes like this for 2 years in a row is priceless. Ryan Day and Jim Knowles will need to enter witness protection to survive.
I'm excited for this Saturday 😁 my prediction is Michigan wins 30_16 or something like that great blowout win in Ohio I'm glad we won and we smash the buckeyes twice
Ever since the win, I’ve been waiting to hear you utter this glorious response to the game!!! OH, what a day!!!!! 365 more days of sunshine!!!!! God I love my team, GO BLUE!
I'm a Buckeye fan for over 50 years. Can't argue with success. I knew if Michigan won this would be Eisen's reaction. We have to go to Ann Arbor next year...looks like 3 in a row.
What a W. Last year was special but this year I got to watch it with my dad it reminded me of watching the beatdown at number 2 Notre Dame in 2006 as a younger kid. A day I’ll never forget. Go Blue.
Holy crap I literally told my dad exactly this. That was the most nervous I was for any game in that point in my life and we scored 21 in the 1st quarter if I'm not mistaken.
@@TheScottAF I'm not sure if you were addressing the commenters in this thread or just "Michigan people" in general, because nobody in this specific thread indicated that they root for OSU. The MSU alum roots for Michigan over OSU, and both Michigan alums root for MSU in all games except when they play Michigan.
@@aliwantizu What he means is that msu fans will root for osu when they play Michigan. Its definitely a thing. msu's hatred for Michigan means that they would even root for osu when they play us. The first commenter's statement is revealing. There are very few msu fans that would root for Michigan EVEN IF they are playing osu.
I know its a year away but, with CJ leaving and JJ returning along with the game being in Ann Arbor, I would have to say we are definitely early favorites in "The Game" next year. 3 in a row! Lets Go!
@@gargould7186 stroud’s arm might be fine in the NFL but he’s not a good college QB. JJ’s not accurate but that matters less when you can scramble and our defense ignores the secondary.
@Kevin Johnston what are you talking about? JJ is extremely mobile and has run for 1st downs throughout the season. And did you see the touchdown he had vs OSU?
LOVE this!!! After all the arrogance Buckeye nation has had (even this past year), this is GLORIOUS. There are ZERO excuses this year. No flu, no snow, nothing. AND Corum barely played! GO BLUE.
Only the irrational ones want Day gone (which seems to be a fair amount). Both Michigan teams that he has faced so far are leagues better than whatever they were putting out there against Urban. We’ve been spoiled for years but Michigan has finally gotten its act together and OSU grew complacent. I’m confident he’ll adjust the team as needed and have them ready for next year (should’ve had them ready this year but I’ll give him one more shot). Glad it’s finally a rivalry again!
This is becoming my favorite annual tradition--“The Rich Eisen Show” after the Michigan/Ohio St. game! 🙌🙌🙌 I couldn’t wait to see this show after Saturday’s game! 😂
As a Michigan alumna and long suffering fan, Saturday was truly an amazing day. I don't know if Michigan can win the National title but I do know this is our best team and the best chance to bring back the title to Ann Arbor in 25 years.
I've been waiting to watch this all day. Watched the game and like Michigan only because Harbaugh is my favorite coach. Dude is the best. Im happy for him and Rich being able to be happy about this.
It was a beautiful and glorious victory! The last time we beat Ohio by 22 points in Columbus was 1976, Bo was the coach, Rick Peach Leach was the qb and we said a Rosebowl bound Meechigan 22 and a washbowl bound Ohio state zip. Go Blue!!!
What's amazing is before last year's beatdown, there were a lot of pundits and fans thinking that Harbaugh's job was in jeopardy with another loss. Now after two straight pummeling wins, Harbaugh is a legend and Ryan Day is being run out with pitchforks by his own fan base.
This 62 yr old alum grew up in A2- and I can’t even remember starting to root for Michigan against OSU. My whole life. 4th quarter Saturday= pure unadulterated joy.
Been waiting 2 days for this! Rich Eisen is every Michigan fan over the age of 25. Whenever you see your friend that’s a Michigan can you can’t help but talk about this game w them for too long. The arrogance Ohio State, and they way in which they’ve beat them the last two years is a thing of beauty
Best 8 minutes and 56 seconds of my day! I’ve been waiting for this rant, with childlike Christmas morning enthusiasm, since Saturday afternoon. Thank you Rich Eisen - GO BLUE!!!
Me of your best shows EVER! Loved the passion and enthusiasm FOR “The Beatdowns” (notice plural) as will be known through College Football History from hence forth🤣🤣🤣
I love Rich, as an Illini fan I laughing my a$$ off. It's funny how the only team Michigan didn't blow out was my boys from Illinois. Good luck wolverines
Happy for you, the players and the maligned Jim Harbaugh. He's a good man, produced good people, not just football players. Michigan has a class program.
@@treyabbey6477 I don't think so. Different series and I don't think the interception resulted in a touchdown during the next series. Final score should have been 52-23.
