Were not going to beat Texas, though. We're pretty likely to have anywhere from a garbage to a mediocre passing game. That will stifle our offensive efficiency, and Texas will score enough to win.
@Adam-vs2in Chill out, princess lol. Don't catastrophize. We very well could still win 9-10 games and make the playoffs. It's just clear we don't have a QB and that is... kinda important.
@@mattdrewdrums well we don’t know about the QBs. The coaches have a better idea who can throw and who can’t. We don’t know. Orji might be a horrible passer or he could be a decent passer. We know he’s going to use his legs a bit. We also don’t know about Tuttle or Warren. Tuttle might not be great but he’s got experience. Here’s the way I look at it, speight and Okorn were not very good QBs but they won games with them. It doesn’t matter who the QB is if they can’t take care of the ball they will be in trouble. I don’t expect them to win the NC this year, but I think they can win 10 games as long as the QB takes care of the ball. They still have an elite defense with Edwards and Mullings returning with a young OL. Dont forget Texas was strong last season and they lost to Washington, the team that Michigan kept off the board. Texas also lost 10+ starters in the draft so they have some question marks too. This is their first time playing at Michigan stadium so it won’t be easy for them.
I think a lot of people doubt Michigan, but they forget the Wolverines that are returning. They have players on the Offensive line that have game experience, because Michigan has had a good team rotation the recent years.
Because sometimes that's true. The last 3 years were great depth development and planning for 3 to 5 years Jim and company did a great job. Now it's Sherrone turn and yes Michigan still has players and the Michigan way which was started by Jim but it took all those years to developed it. Michigan will be fine but they don't have the depth yet . Yes the hit the portal with 2nd and 3rd rated players who has questions marked. Just like the offense has and depth in defense so a 1 to 3 loses may happened or may not. Just don't be surprised when it happens@@terrillistreality2191
Not to 〽️ention, we STAY underesti〽️ated! I love it!!! Honestly, I know exactly how we are going to do this season. Our biggest game will be against Texas, because it's a STATE〽️ENT GA〽️E!
She's a great interviewer 💛💙🏆👊 ...and thank you, Donovan. Had an extremely challenging and depressing day today (I'm a publisher so it comes often), and your quote "The struggle that you have is just a test of your character." hit me so hard, I saved it in my email to remind me of this. It was something I needed to hear at exactly the right moment 👌 GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, maybe not Makhari. Not everyone is automatically comfortable in front of the camera and being put on the spot. Not gunna lie, I'd have struggled just as bad when I was his age.
I always compare the Michigan offense to Stanford because that's their base Offense just like the 49'ers 😂 All coming from Harbaugh and his experiences with Bo and the NFL. Heavy Tight end usage, motion, play action and the Run game being 🗝️.
JJ actually finished off a drive in the opening minute of the 4th quarter against Rutgers. Then later in the season against PSU that changed and he played in every single 4th quarter after that.
@@SR-hf3hx What makes it even better is OSU fans after the Rose Bowl were all crapping on Seth McLaughlin saying, "Michigan only won the Rose Bowl because Bama's center can't snap the ball!". Well well well, about that center.... Now they're all acting like they've already won the 2024 National Championship, thinking they're invincible. Gonna be hard to beat good teams with a center who can't snap the ball when under pressure.
@@Jon.A.Scholt that fanbase is an absolute mess right now....they can all keep talking.... McLaughlin won't be ready for graham and grant , id bet money on that
Donovan "Mr. Humble: will win the Heisman. And remain humble. And give all the credit to others. Go Blue! Because of the most important thing is "the team, the team, the team." 😊😊
I hate when media faces tell michigan players about making to the big stages. Really? Playing in the largest North American stadium 6-8 times a year isn't a big stage? No respect, no respect at all.
Michigan will not be as good. All I need is one argument. QB. Alex Orji is not a QB. He’s a RB. I don’t need a second argument but there isn’t a Harbaugh there anymore. The team wasn’t the same without him on the sidelines. They won but didn’t seem the same. Lifelong fan from the UP. I fully expect a decade long drop back to mediocrity.
I say go with Orgi against Fresno State and just run it down their throats. Get a big lead, then do some passing or even bring in another quarterback for gametime experience and exposure.
Yeah if they can beat Fresno by 3 or 4 scores with a vanilla offense and very little tape for Texas that would work out well. Only Michigan coaches know what those QBs are capable of right now.
I don’t see them overlooking them. Two things here. 1)Michigan was on a decline when they lost to app state. They were not a strong team bringing back returning championship players. 2) it’s opening night and these players have been hearing they are going to be weak all offseason. They still have a chip on their shoulders and they’ll be pumped to be back on the field to defend their NC.
