What goes on during the commercials on t.v. :-) Such wonderful memories of my very first MICHIGAN/OHIO STATE game at THE BIG HOUSE.....after loving and watching MICHIGAN for decades....The game with OHIO STATE has always been the HIGH POINT of the yr. for me. I would always order pizza and have Pepsi.... Never dreamed that I would ever get to see it for REAL.....at the stadium....and what a yr. to see it....after so many disappointing seasons....but WE ARE BACK!!! M GO BLUE 4-EVER!!!! :-)
+Matthew Hackett Ever imagined teaching the crowd how to sing like the English do? I’ve been trying to get the crowd to sing like that at games before.
in the 1A illinois wivc confornance, the triopia trojan band played queen and EVERYBODY sang along. we played agenst them as the pleasant hill / western wolves and lost. triopia was close to state. they should of won. they'd go state and win but we have a fighting chance this year with a new linemen coach. my dad is head coach
Best song of all-time. One of the worst singers of all time here whoever it is.... but thanks mate for recording THE stadium of all college football. GO BLUE dammit.
Never understood the fascination with this song being played in Detroit and the surrounding area. Born and raised in South Detroit, next line, took a midnight train going anywhere, as in, I don't care where its going, just get me the fuck out of here!
Ignas0000 Michigan, OSU, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Penn State, AND BASICALLY EVERY OTHER BIG TEN/FBS school doesn't have a stadium with a roof dumbass.
I know that this is a huge stadium. Very sad that so many people aren't able to create a better sports atmosphere for their players. The quietest 100k+ ever.
+Tanja Lindenau It's also an outdoor stadium. It's hard to hear everyone. I've seen pro wrestlers mention all the time when they've done outdoor Wrestlemania's with 80K+ people how quiet it sounds but you can see the crowd going crazy. 20K indoors sounds louder than 80K outdoors.
+Alex Tran: I actually don't. ;) I was talking about the lack of atmosphere in that huge stadium. I didn't even mention your eggball sport buddy. To each their own I guess. ;)
Jupp but talking about an "eggball stadium" doesn't mean that I care about the sport itsself. I'm interested in how good fans of any sport can create atmosphere during games and was commenting on it. If I was interested in American football I would watch games and not videos of fans TRYING to create a great atmosphere. Huge difference pal. ;) You're making a fool out of yourself. Lol. :D
+Tanja Lindenau It's the design of the stadium. Michigan Stadium is an open bowl, so most of the sound just projects straight across and up. Most modern stadiums are built upwards, and the presence of taller surrounding stadium structures or a roof is able to capture a lot more sound.
That man behind the camera kinda ruined the mood with that horrible singing. I might not sing well but I have SOME sense when it come to my voice jeez lol
Look i'm sorry maybe you 'Americans' should look at the Besiktas fans (Turkish team). That might change your self centred views. There's one video with 35K Besiktas fans which makes this look like a funeral service.
What is it with american football fans that can't sing. Everywhere else can sing in harmony and sync, even with shit stadiums like Ninian Park and Wembley Stadium
It’s too large, sound only travels so fast. People singing at the same time across the stadium will sound off sync. If you don’t notice that at your games, the fans far away from you aren’t being loud enough to be be heard.
