Gotta love Steve Perry leading a packed house @ AT&T Park, San Francisco in 'Don't Stop Believing' during the 8th inning of Game 5 in the NLCS. SF GIANTS 2010 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS !!!!!
I'm 45 years old an every time I hear this song, suddenly I am 15 again and have goose bumps all over my body. And I can remember exactly what it felt like to be alive back in the 80's.
I love how it seemed so random that the cameraman was just panning around taking in the atmosphere of a great song and fans and then boom, there he was. Steve Perry singing his own song. So awesome! Go Giants!
I was having a conversation a while back with someone about where did all the good rock singers from the early to mid 80's go. After doing some homework, I found out that 75% of those singers were Steve Perry. Those voices were just "The Voice." This guy made enough hits to be his own generation.
I am African-American and grew up on R&B and Rap but this guy(Steve Perry) takes my breath away. What a voice!!! Now im one of his biggest fans. I would pay to see him in concert any day.
Hello Dear, how're you doing? Your comments caught my attention and that is why I am reaching out to you. Your fan love for me warms my heart, Thank you! It's nice meeting you here.
It makes my heart feel so good to see Steve having a great time and just being normal, he missed so much of his life giving it to Journey. I was VERY lucky to see Steve front and center in Fresno Ca, best 3 concerts i ever went to. Steve you look wonderful, keep enjoying your life, and thank you for continuing to make my bad days better.
Journey and Steve Perry's music without a doubt was addicting in a positive way. I have SO many wonderful memories of every album and concerts from Infinity to Raised on Radio tours. Journey music also helped me through some difficult times back then, teen and 20's years for me. Can't say there's a lot of music today doing that for kids 😢
Steve, you need get out and about and allow us to hear your beautiful voice again soon!! You have such loyal fans!! Heres to your return to the masses!! We love you!
it's awsome to see steve having a great time and laughing, it's a good thing when you see steve singing and the whole place start's singing with him. plus the giants won as well, steve hasn't lost a thing over the year's, he's still handsome as ever, the smile, the personality, and a heart as big as texas. life has been good to him and it show's. personaly i'm glad , he deserves to be happy, because he's made so many people happy over the year's just by listening to his song's, he's # 1 special
No Steve, No Journey.... PERIOD ! My big brother and i saw them in Mountain Air 1981 in the Bay Area Angel's Camp 8th row back center stage, we were both very young bucks and it was the very best that Journey could ever be, we will never forget that 7 hour show, 415, Billy Squire, Hall & Oates, and Journey with a very young and energetic Steve Perry. >;]
I was 17 the Year Steve Perry joined Journey, and all hell broke loose in my heart 😅. That was '78. It is 2024 and I see him like this and again all hell breaks loose in my heart 😊. Steve Perry forever
Even seeing him here takes me back. We all love you Steve.... thank you, thank you thank you. Your music saved me at a dark time in my life. You've always given me hope. 2021
damn this is my first time seeing this..got me emotional..this is the guy and whose music i listenend to and loved (and still love) as a teen in the 80s..LOVE YA STEVE..
Being a Dodger fan, I hate the Giants. But that was a great video. It's great seeing Steve having a great time in the seats just like any other fan. No VIP treatment, no front row seats. Just a regular guy having a great time.
StevePerryFan 4Infinity I saw Journey in 1983 at age 7 because my dad/aunt were fans. I was a little metalhead and thought I'd be bored. I heard Steve Perry belt out the first song and I was a fan.
That's amazing! I feel impressed when artists doesn't like to be remembered or associated with a very successful song! He could just be like most of then and say "Well, I'm not the singer of Don't Stop Believing, I got a lot of another songs". But no. He really enjoys that, like the fans do! Happiness and joy, incredible Steve Perry!
Wow the Giants win the world series and Steve Perry steals the spotlight gotta love it. He still seems to get a jam packed crowd look at this LOL. Steve Perry for life woooo
The greatness of this vid is that Steve Perry aka THE VOICE IS A Legit GIANT Fan of The SF Giants ! The guy went nuts two years ago and went nuts again this year when they won the Series for the second time in three years ! SF Giants + The Voice Steve Perry = DON'T STOP BELIEVIN'
Definitely "EPIC"! Steve Perry is the best. I saw him live at Brendan Byrne Arena in NJ. Journey was amazing to be at that concert...Great Memories...Living Each Day As The 80's...No Other Year will Do!!!...YEAH!....
I love this so much! I was fortunate enough to meet Steve Perry years ago. Humble nice man. I cry every time I see this video!!! What a fitting song for the Giants victory @ WS!
I love journey and Steve Perry. This was truly amazing, I watched this video so many times. But if you look behind Steve, the cop is trying his best to stay professional, but it looks like he’s struggling and just wants to rock out. This song is legendary and it’s so hard not to sing along..😂😂😂😂
I dont really follow baseball but this makes me so happy. A lot of artists seem to get sick of hearing some of their songs over and over again for decades, but it looks like Steve totally embraces it and can still have a good time with it whenever it plays.
Stevie Perry will always be the greatest, nobody will ever replace his amazing voice, he will always have a special place in my heart. I grew up listening to the original Journey.
@Priscilla Burnett ... bet you're really happy now that Steve IS back !! 💜 ... I know I'm over the moon & his album Traces is amazing ... luv this man on everything he ever does, whether in a baseball stadium supporting the team he loves or in his own studio making the music we love !! 💜💜 ... Steve Perry is definitely still the Voice & will forever be the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) !! 💜💜🎶🎤🎶💜💜
This song, Steve Perry, and the fans make for a fun time. Thanks for this post. I like the fact that everyone is singing so loudly. Echoes go all over the place.
Steve Perry un gran ser humano y un extraordinario cantante, cada vez que escucho a este señoron siento el corazón lleno de alegría. Y se nota el amor que la gente le tiene, no solo ahí en el estadio sino también en todo el mundo.
We lost to the Dodgers in NLDS Game 5 and YT brought me this perfect video. Now I'm crying and just would like to say I'll always believe in my Giants no matter what!!!
Ty for sharing.fortunately I was able to see journey n the 80's they will always be my favorite band of all times..Nobody will ever take the place of Steve.
Effin yeah! Every individual fan made this happen. Love that the AT&T crowd has become the best in baseball. I do remember the early days of PAC BELL. Most of them never been to the STICK. This year was nice! WE ARE BACK and here to stay. AS if you didn't know.
Wonderful seeing so many happy fans! The Giants are going to bring it on HOME to the Bay!!!! I love Journey and besides the Giants winning it all, it would be great if a Journey reunion with the REAL Singer of that great band were to happen. Perry is a true fan! Love the City By the Bay and the band who made that a song. Go Giants!
Not the first time Mr. Perry has led a sing along to that song while at the ball park....Had the pleasure of seeing him do the same thing earlier that season about a couple weeks before the playoffs began...Its magical in the park when the man does this.....He takes in more Giants games than you might think....
