When GB came out I was about 6. This song and the eerie scene of the ghost fireballs flying out of the firehouse and into the city were extremely creepy to me. Love it.
Still remember hearing this in the cinema in Ghostbusters. It had the full house sound system including the vibrating speaker seats........the bass line in this had the floor moving, and I can still remember the feeling that my inside's were about to liquify.......AWESOME !!!!!! Still sounds pretty damn cool now through my stereo I have connected to the PC.
This was always my favorite song from the Ghostbusters soundtrack, and the original has always been one of my favorite movies. I'm happy to say that I'm passing that love on to my grandson- just took him to see it in the theater yesterday for their 35th anniversary show and he had a blast!
This song really let you know shit hit the fan! That swirling stuff above the city and this song together used to scare the shit out of me as a kid! Infact there was more movie magic in the entirety of that scene than all of Ghostbusters 2016.
i saw it in the cinema when i was 8 i remember being totally immersed in this tune and the scene its from, even today i still have to stop what im doing to listen to its wierd as!!
Great song. I remember seeing Ghostbusters in the theater in '84. Great summer for movies - this, Karate Kid, Gremlins. I also didn't mind Red Dawn. Temple of Doom had its moments too.
Buckaroo banzai starring Peter Weller Ellen barkin Splash and bachelor party starting Tom Hanks Purple Rain starring prince The cult classic Streets of Fire also starred Rick moranis Diane Lane Footloose starring Kevin Bacon
An all girl 'Ghostbusters', I dont know about that. Not being sexist in any way, but the original characters were men. This track however, is one of if not my favorite on the soundtrack. I like it more than the theme song which was sooo pop sounding Lol. This is deep, dark and very mythological. Love it!
+Jaime Saare The remake has great characters like Jenny McCarthy and Leslie. When I was a boy, I loved Ghostbusters and I think the four ladies are the right equivalent to the four men who played the busters in the 1980s. I hope the movie will keep it's promise and be as much fun as the two movies before were. The story has to be great. Special effects and effect shots expire and become silly after a while. So if the plot is shit, then the movie sinks down and nobody will ever bother to watch it again. Many movies from the past decades have 'old' special effects, yet the plot is good and the movies are fun, even though they obviously come from another time.
+James “JdH” Harrah I don't even think it's about changing them from men to women, but just changing them full-stop. Any other PEOPLE trying to be the Ghostbusters are going to be something either entirely different, or a crappy imitation. You can't faithfully re-create the Ghostbusters.
+Corey Leonardo Borgert I'm curious how you see McCarthy's crass schtick compare to any of the original cast, or Wigg's awkward weirdness, or any of them, really. I think you have high-hopes. You're either a glass-half-full kinda guy, or you're an exceptionally slow learner in that you still haven't caught on to the fact that films that attempt to exploit nostalgia these days, are either completely terrible or just not that memorable.
+Savonnerie York, I fully agree with you. I know just too well about movies being a failure when they try to recycle good old movies. Think of Star Trek or the upcoming Star wars just to mention two examples or the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to be our third example next to the Batman franchise. Sure, at a propability factor of 99,9% the movie will be a huge disappointment. Which will be a pitty for the cast, which I would sure want to give a chance. I believe the actors will indeed want to do a good job. However, it will strongly depend on the script and the makers to produce a movie that goes down in history. Just to redo the 1984s version and add modern CGI-effects, which will be outdated in 10 years, and by presenting a script that rushes through the plot they will for sure produce a fail. So if the scrip and the dialogues suck, the movie won't do it. The actors will follow the lead of the directors and producers. I wonder when we will see some real good stories and some real good scenes that stay in the mind. Perhaps I'm a glass-half-full person. :-)
Nice, song and being a HUGE Ghostbusters movie fan, I always remember the haunting call of "please" "please". The song was perfect for what was happening in the movie at that time. Other than that, nothing special, I'll listen to Thieves Like Us and Blue Monday for eternity over this.
For the new Ghostbusters cast, they ought to have; Jeremy Piven-Peter Venkman Matt Stone-Raymond Stantz Don Cheadle-Winston Zedemore Shia Lebouf-Egon Spenglor Joely Fisher-Dana Barrett Jamie Kennedy-Louis Tully
John Baab "Ghostbusters - The Video Game" May just be the sequel you want. Voices for all Ghostbusters are the actors from the flicks. & they aren't the only ones. Good story, good vibes, gameplay is awkward sometimes, but earning new gear, collecting haunted items & busting ghosts never gets old. BUT it's a video game. If you're not a gamer....
Have you played the 2009 game? It's probably the closest thing to GB3. Written by Ramis and Akroyd, with all the cast except for Moranis and Weaver returning to reprise their roles. They even got William Atherton playing Peck, and Max Von Sydow recording a cameo as Vigo.
I actually prefer this version. This is the version that should have appeared on the Ghostbusters soundtrack album, because it's actually the only part of the song that's in the movie. It exudes the right vibe for the movie. I don't like the first half of the other version. It's a bit dull.
I find it nice that Zone used songs from the ghostbusters movie both in their porno and in promotional content, XXXtreme ghostbusters might get me invested in the ghostbusters franchise as a whole if we’re being honest
I think the entire song is really cool. This is the second half. The first talks about a woman he adores and the “magic” he feels when he’s finally inside of her. The second talks about seduction and the “magic” of using sexual acts to control a woman through lust
Lovely song. Hear it from Ghostbusters 1984. This song here should've heard in: 1. Mewtwo strikes back & it's evolution. 2. Mewtwo returns. 3. Pokemon the rise of Darkrai. 4. Pokemon the power of one. 5. Pokemon spell of the Unown. 6. Pokemon heroes. 7. Pokemon Zoroark master of Illusions. 8. The Stand 1994. 9. The Langoliers 1995. 10. Heavy metal 1981. 11. X men evolution. 12. 12. Phantasm 1-5. 13. Poltergeist 1-3. 14. Nightmares on Elm Street 1-5. 15. Freddy's dead 1991. 16. The darkest hour 2011. 17. They live. 18. Butt Ugly Martians. 19. Nez Screens GTA5 movies (The painkiller, Living dead 1-4, & evil demons). 20. Pokemon Jirachu wish maker. 21. Pokemon Destiny Deoxys.
I don't think there will ever be a ghostbusters 3, without the original cast. Might as well make a reboot instead, and let the franchise start fresh with new young up comers, and keep Ghostbusters 1 and 2 for the time capsule.
Great and interesting song you got including it's Nightcrawler picture; add this song for my favorable song list. Hear this from Ghostbusters 1984 which that movie is way better than the 2016 movie, oh yes, it is. This reminds me of few things: 1. Mewtwo strikes back & it's evolution. 2. Heavy Metal 1981. 3. Mewtwo returns. 4. Michael Jackson Ghost movie. 5. Pokemon the rise of Darkrai. 6. X men evolution. 7. Pink Floyd's the wall movie. 8. Phantasm 1-5. 9. Nightmares on Elm street 1-5. 10. Freddy's dead 1991. 11. They live 1988. 12. Nez Screens GTA5 movies (The painkiller, Living dead 1-4, and Evil demons). 13. Stephen king's the stand 1994. 14. Stephen king's the Langoliers. 15. Raiders of the lost ark 1981. 16. The mummy 1999. 17. The darkest hour 2011.
They scorned me of any Love They scorned me of every life Then this spirit appeared 3 times from the other side. She said "Appease Me Bleed... ...want me to let you go?" She believes in blood magick I believe loves tragic Imagine Just imagine...
You guys don't know what the fuck your looking at, it's a magic half-not. A super nightcrawler, more halve not then halvenots. It's enough to prove it, this video is magical, like literally dog. ✨ it is magic
#1 Kurt 'Nightcrawler' Wagner is perhaps one of the most pious Catholics in the Universe. He knows that he looks like a demon, which is one reason he is so pious. #2 This makes it even more ironic, because if you know the lyrics, the song is about having sex, literally.
