Michael Connelly is a fantastic storyteller. I started collecting his books a couple of years ago and this one will definitely be added to my collection. I already pre-ordered my copy to ensure I get it.

Glad to see Bosch is still active despite what you did to him in the last novel...

I pre-ordered my book on Audible, stayed up until midnight (EST) only to find out it would not be released until Midnight (PST) My first thoughts. Absolutely love Titus Welliver as Bosch and Peter Giles as Mickey. Not Much Christine Larkin in this book, but that is ok, she was very good as well. I am just going to say it. I kept finding myself saying, oh that came from The Reversal, or that came from the Original Lincoln Lawyer, or that was in the Fifth Witness. It is like a greatest hits album. All of our favorite storylines showed up in Resurrection Walk. When you read the book or listen (Which I highly recommend) just count the greatest hits plot lines. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the book and it is another Titus Welliver and Peter Giles book that I can listen to over and over. I have to be honest, by chapter 10 or so I knew the outcome. There are a lot of clichés in this book. Thank God he got rid of most of the PC crap. I almost didn’t buy this book because of his last book that big pharma must have paid for with the covid narrative (Which I have never heard him apologize for) and I am pretty sure Michael is probably one of those guys that thinks Jan 6th was worse than Pearl Harbor and 9/11 combined. You can see this is a complicated relationship. I love Harry, Mickey, Maddi, Mank, Edgar, Crate and Barrel, Lt. Billets and so many more (BTW Maddi’s acting in Legacy season 2 are leaps and bounds over season 1, she has become a fine actor.) I just strongly dislike when a director, author or screenwriter injects politics in with our favorite characters. With that said, I give this book a 5 out of 5. (I am probably a little bias because I love the characters so much) Thank you Michael for giving us this book.
