The plaintiff says the defendant used to date her daughter. While they were together, the defendant was planning to go on a vacation with the plaintiff and her family, but he backed out. The plaintiff is suing for travel costs she says he owes. The defendant argues the plaintiff offered to take him on the trip without any mention of having to pay for it.

The mother lied about the hotel room, she said that she had booked 'her' room WITH her daughter and not with the defendant and only when he decided to come did she book another room for the defendant AND her daughter, yet they had the family trip organised from the start WITH the defendant. I think the daughter should have paid half the cancellation fee...
