PSA Micro Dagger has options to get a comped slide and holosun already with it as well for around $500, pair that with the 15 round magazine in the same size of the Glock 10 round and the clear winner is PSA.
I have been carrying a 43X for years. I just switched to a PSA micro dagger with the compensated slide. And a Primary Arms micro pistol dot. I threw some true glow night sites on it as well. Definitely helps with keeping multiple shots on target a lot easier. This is my first PSA gun. I love it!
@@jmf1976jmf I’m using a bravo concealment IWB holster for the Glock 48 MOS. The fitment around the light rail on the frame is a little off. But it’s close enough to work.
Different recoil spring is probably why Micro is snappy. Micro dagger has old gen 3 trigger bar and housing. 43/43x/48 has gen 5 trigger bar and housing.
PSA made a genius marketing move. For the people who are strictly Glock 43x/MOS they have the micro dagger magazine which is compatible. Either way PsA is getting theirs !
I finally recieved my Dagger Micro a couple of weeks back. I took mine to the range and fired 200 rounds through it using the one magazine it came with plus one more that I ordered. One is slick stainless and the other is matt black. Both magazines loaded to FULL capacity with NO issues. I fired the 200 rounds without one single malfunction of any kind. No issues with either magazine. The gun hit dead center at 20 yards. I took the gun home, cleaned and inspected it. So far, absolutely no issues or worries.
Purchased PSA Dagger Micro with 500 rd through it no issues. Really like the Holosun red dot. Definitely like the fact it comes with a lifetime warranty.
Purchased AR15s from PSA and they are great . I have a Dagger.... Very good but not quite as good as my Glock 19. Very close though. Perhaps more range time will improve my shot groups. Recently watched a video about the micro dagger and the negatives. I am going to hold off buying one .
Purchased and fired the micro dagger FDE. 300 rds thru it. Very accurate, ergonomics are great . I highly reccomend it! The PSA slick side mags for it truly suck! Cannot get more than 2 rounds in them even when i let them set for a month. I will send them back for replacement and hope they do the right thing and replace with mags that work . I have PSA Ar 15s and Dagger compact and they are great! Highly reccomend them . I also bought a Tisas 1911a1 tank commander 45 from psa last year. Outstanding pistol! On a budget and want a 9mm, 45 ACP and AR 15? GO PSA!
I’ve been carrying a G43X MOS for a while and just picked up a Micro Dagger lower on sale. It actually feels better to me than my G43X. Waiting for the C1 slide to come back in stock. I also got rid of my Shield mags and use the PSA mags.
I have the PSA Micro Dagger with the compensated slide and Holosun 407K. I put an Overwatch Precision Polymer DAT Drop-In Trigger Kit in it and I'm very pleased overall. For the price difference I was able to add an optic, extra mags, and the trigger.
i have a micro dagger frame with ghost 2.5 trigger and a brass trigger shoe. my slide is a custom slide with a ported barrel so its the same length as a a regular 43x with no muzzle attachment and it feels fantastic to shoot . virtually no recoil

I have the PSA Micro Dagger as well as PSA Compact Dagger. With that being said I also have the Glock 43x and Glock 19. I have put hundreds of rounds thru all 4 pistols. The trigger operation of all 4 is personal preference and for me I prefer the PSA triggers. I have had zero issues with all 4 pistols. No ftf or anything else. I appreciate this reviewers honest opinions. For me, my first choice is definitely the PSA pistols. Far better ergonomics for my shooting style.
Respectable review. I just tested my micro dagger today, shot 250 rounds of 124 gr and had 0 issues or malfunctions. The ergonomics are noticeably comfortable in comparison to the 43x. Will carry this gun for now but will most likely upgrade to a 43xmos in the future due to the backed reliability. Update: after 500 rounds, every mag has a failure to feed or failure to extract. Just bought a 43x.

43x stock for its reliability! When you start swapping non OEM parts then it’s gon be questionable like the Micro Dagger. With that being said, get a Glock 19 😉
I have been carrying the Glock 48,17,23 for the last couple of years. I recently got the dagger compact. I put it through my own reliability test and it past so I switched to carrying it. I was so impressed with it I just ordered the micro basic version. I hope it will perform just as good. I am definitely a Glock tard. But even with my bias I can see the purpose behind having/ using a less expensive clone.
Clearly the micro dagger all the reviews I've seen every one loves it over the 43x and many rave over the trigger. 1000 rds no issues.. Why I ordered one!
43x is my nightstand gun. I use Warne +2 on the stock mags. I use the 15 rd mags during training. Would love a micro dagger but they are always unavailable when i visit PSA. I got rid of the junk trigger on both of my X Size Daggers to kineti-tech flat triggers ($40) Deal. Great vid. Got your comp installed on my Dagger, fill you jn later. Cheers!!
I mean.. you do you…but WHY would you make a small CC gun your nightstand gun?! This is meant to conceal, so it comes with compromises…a nightstand gun should be a full size, both for capacity AND drivability.

Let’s face it… Micros are more difficult to shoot accurately, even when on the range. Not that you can’t do it… It’s just more difficult. So if you’re then going to introduce stress into the situation,that’s the answer
@@pleox42 yeah, I have my staccato on the nightstand and an AR next to the bed. I guess it just boils down to the heat of the moment whichever gets grabbed first.
My wife and I have the 43x as our EDC, and we purchased the Shield Arms mags, the 3rd Gen. We have about 1,000 rounds total through all 18 mags combined, and they’ve been 100% reliable so far. I mean not ONE single issue nor a failure of any kind. We do have the steel mag catch, not the aluminum.
The biggest difference for me was the fact I could get the micro with the 15 round mag and the red dot I wanted to run for right around the same price for the stock MOS and the dot would be mounting directly to the slide. I hate the MOS plates and was going to send it off for milling if I went the Glock route. For me the PSA just won in all categories.
What i also hate about MOS is that alot of companies wont mill an MOS slide. So you would have to get a non-mos model to get that "direct mount" and that takes away your rail slot for a light.
The PSA micro dagger has an option right now for the weapon with a hollow optic attached for 499. So now compare the 43X stock, which is right around $500 to the micro dagger with an optic at 499. Not one single person in these comments would say that the stock trigger on either one of these guns is excellent… And I would fathom to guess at least 75% of the people that would buy. Either one of these guns would replace the trigger almost immediately… So all things being equal… I’m buying the micro dagger
At the end of the day it's preference. For me the ergos, and the value you get in the Dagger C-1 is just unbeatable in it's class out of the box. I feel the hinge trigger doesn't feel as bad as it is on the Compact. If you wanted to swap it out there are a number of options to replace the trigger. $20 (plus ship and tax) gets you a shadow systems cr920 trigger/bar which is a good upgrade from stock on both pistols. (just keep in mind the Gen 5 43x trigger bar is different from the Gen 3 style that Shadow Systems and PSA uses). I replaced mine with a blem shoe from standard Co for $50 which dramatically changes the feel of the trigger, and let's be honest a lot folks will replace the trigger on the 43x over the stock so even that comparison is a wash. Reliability I believe would be negligible since most people would be hard pressed to put 10k in one pistol unless they train frequently. I'd rather take take the savings and spend it on ammo and range time. Especially if you plan to carry these pistols and with the ammo you plan to carry. Both are great options and I am just a guy that wanted to share my experience.
Reliabilty issues are already popping up. Im gonna hold off on the Micro Dagger (i want it to succeed) for a while since thrse new pistols usually seem to have some kinks in the beginning.
I went with the Micro Dagger, the grip is hands down far superior to the Glock’s. I swapped the trigger and have the comp’d slide. It’s my favorite carry piece now. PSA knocked it out of the park on the grips of the Daggers.
I love the psa dagger I just switch out the trigger for a oem Glock one that cost me $15 plus my go to aftermarket parts I swap on all my Glocks so I’ll choose the dagger best bang for the buck
The controversy between Shield and PSA about the magazines is kinda silly. This is the firearm industry. Everyone is copying everyone else, and so long as it's not blatant it's not a big deal. Besides, PSA actually improved the design by making a metal 15rd magazine compatible with an existing polymer magazine release, which opens up a wide array of aftermarket mag releases as well. The Shield mag release is okay, but it's actually worse than the stock Micro Dagger mag release. So you're literally taking a small step down to use the shield magazine.
Great review!! I have the same issue with my PSA micro dagger trigger, my finger wants to slide off. I think my finger is just too large for the relatively small travel footprint of the trigger mechanism. It might work just fine, but I don’t like it and I will swap it out…just as I also do with every Glock I have…so it’s a non-issue because I hate all Glock triggers to begin with, and PSA really could of had a chance to one up Glock by putting in a really good trigger. However, the price wouldn’t be where it is now. I’m just glad I can own all of them and tinker with them as I please😂
Definitely the G43X! Bells a whistles aside. I've not only heard of, but seen many issues with the Micro Dagger. The last video I saw of one, it just stopped working because the trigger broke. But Glock, unlike PSA, has a fantastic track record of durability and reliability that PSA has never been able to achieve. Glock builds quality firearms. PSA slaps together guns with QC being tertiary at best.
My micro PSA is going back for warranty. It's a failure to feed machine. I chose the PSA because I didn't want an optics plate , but the screws it came with were too long , and I ended up using my own. Not sure if avoiding an adapter plate was worth all the trouble. I might have a better attitude after it all gets resolved , which I'm sure it will.
I'm going to stick to my 43x. Even though Glock grips are slippery. I now have Talon grips for it. Need to install. This upgrade I will do, cause Glock will not liason to the customer and upgrade there factory grips. It's a gen. 5 so the trigger is ok. I have the Shield mags and metal mag release. Not installed yet. The 43x is not a block and conceals well. Thanks for the PSA. Glock review 😊
What barrel you add to the Glock for the comp? Did the micro dagger come with threaded bbl? I picked up a practically new g43x w/ night sights and 3 mags for $400 with case, then got a 3pk of shield arms mags with metal mag release for $106 delivered. LOVE THIS SETUP. Added a Sig Romeo I had on another gun-- may consider a different optic later. Also got a baldr s BL for it, but may get a tlr-7 sub instead. I have a threaded bbl I got from my old g43, but may not comp it since I have several old g43 holsters that fit or have been adapted to fit... On the g43x I've noticed the trigger feels a bit sharp. Oh, and I didn't opt for PSA mags cus I heard people have reliability issues and feel like they might have some kinks to work out. The gen3 s15 mags I tried worked flawlessly at the range yesterday.
Just bought a micro dagger lower and paired it with an aim surplus upper. Less than 30 rounds in the trigger is just about dead. You have to squeeze the trigger so hard and it barely shoots. I watched a video about this exact issue and thought it wouldn't be me because of all the other great psa products I purchased in the past. This was a bad buy. Also the copper cerakote on aim surplus barrel has extreme wear after about 30 rounds of sellier n ballot 115gr. I should have went OEM glock or performance center shield 4in. Lesson learned 😢
I did the 43x non mos version and went with the micro dagger comp slide. I prefer the RMR direct cut opposed to plates. After everything I am almost $1700 for this stupid Glock. OP trigger, Shield Arms mags, magwell, and mag catch, Ghost Inc slide release, PSA comp slide, SF Sentinel green dot, XS big dot night sights(for the non optic cut slide). I really like it though.
I personally believe Glock made the 43X/48 with ten round capacity because of stupid ten round laws from certain states. It comes down to sales and the ability not to change anything from state to state.
PSA Micro Dagger does not work with my Tenicor holster for 43x (no light), although I wasn’t specifically looking for compatibility at the time. Just in case anyone was trying to get that.

I picked up a c1 micro and totally agree the trigger is trash, got a nother frame I'm going to replace all the internals and x1 slide minus the barrel and once again replacing all the internals lol
The Micro Dagger Frame is Far Superior to the 43X frame. I have both you can twist and pinch and bend the 43x frame, the Micro you cannot. try it, Micro is Much better, the Trigger? Swap it out PSA knows most people will

@@bmartin863 lol.. medically, sure. But not in this case. Have you not heard about the rust issue with the 365s. I was mostly joking, but it IS a real issue, that should NOT be. Out of the 40ish hand guns i have/had, I’ve NEVER dealt with rust. You shouldn’t have to make special exceptions for a piece of gear.
I mean some of us are glad the 43x offers the 10rd mags. Not all of us live in gun happy states. Maryland sucks we can only carry 10rd. I do plan on using the 15rd mags for the range though.
Warranty sucks on psa I have spent 2,500.00 with this company and purchased a dagger with a threaded barrel put a yhmr9 on it from Yankee hills threaded on by hand easily shot 2 magazines through it and the suppressor wouldn't screw back off I used, pb blaster, krohl oil,wd 40 nothing helped when I finally got it off it stripped the threads from the barrel they wouldn't warranty the barrel keep in mind it's 99.00 they said they're warranty doesn't cover third-party devices although it was a threaded barrel it's a shame such a nice shooting gun and such a junk warranty no more of my money until they warranty the barrel
Just ordered my second micro dagger today, I have the comped slide. Just got the standard, good to know you guys might be working on a comp for standard slide.... ANY chance of a micro magwell? Something half the size of normal for carry. Just a little helper to get that mag in there quicker under stress?
You can buy the Micro Dagger mag and put it in your 43x... not sure why you framed the 43x as only being able to accept the Shield mag. You also didn't mention the difference in optic mounting setups. All in all, I don't understand the point of reviews of micro compacts that don't frame them in the context of carrying, because that's what they're made for. If I wanted to load one of these up with a comp and other aftermarket accessories, I'd just get a larger gun in the first place.
I edc the 43X & have for a few years now. If I switch the mag release over to the steel release so I can use the shield mags will I be able to still use my plastic factory Glock mags ?
Out of the box, both stock triggers are kinda trash. I went aftermarket after getting each. I'm only 500 rounds into the micro. So far so good. Mags hold up well and like the options it has stock. Yeah the C-1 slide does have a noticeable difference in felt recoil. I've sold my 43x since it was a early model non-MOS. But that was because I moved on to better options before the Micro was released. Honestly, you can't go wrong getting either. People will put money in moding either. It's just how much is up to them. And there are magwells for the Micro out there
I feel like there snobby opinions floating around. Funny before you said anything it seemed visually at least that your fallow up shots with the micro dagger were faster.
My question is does the C1 slide perform better than an attached compensator basically trying to figure out if I would be better off throwing a comp on my 43X or buying a C1 slide
I just got my micro dagger. Slide release doesn’t work and magazine issues out the box. Kinda wish I just waited another week to get the 43x mos. Gonna try to sale micro dagger asap.
Does Harrington arms make a compensator for threaded barrel Springfield echelon? Also, I think it’s better to just have a single top port without the side ports correct?
PSA micro mag compacity is greater and more options to personalize the PSA at this time and far enexpsensive compared to the glock. Glocks are just fanboy firearms now. Glock the #1 polymer king was dethrowned even before glock patent design expired.
I found that the g43x trigger had far too much over travel with far too heavy of a break for consistent acceptable accuracy. It's ok to have one or the other, but both are signs that the manufacturer is making poor quality guns. It requires an excessive amount of clamping force to prevent the gun from wiggling, even with dry fire practice. I have an above average grip strength. For reference, I usually pull with 150-170lbs per hand, depending on fatigue.
Way more options with PSA than glock. It's just another glock. Basic, same problems, etc. If you all are interested in something glock like with more upgrades, check out shadow systems.
SHIELD ARMS MAG A JOKE. PSA MICOR MAGS GOT IT RIGHT THE VERY FIRST TIME! GOT SEVERAL. Most of my shield arms mags still in factory pkg. NOT CONFIDENT IN THEM AT ALL. I have them all Mico dagger , G43X, G43 C1 & G48.
Would a 43x slide and barrel work on a PSA frame? Lots of places are doing cool slide and barrel work for the 43/43x, but I am yet to find one doing Micro Dagger specifically.
