I have been on antidepressants for 9 years after the death of my son. I just recently started microdosing and stopped taking my antidepressants. I can already see a huge difference in my outlook and patience. I don't have the extreme highs and lows. I feel more energetic, I can focus and I smile more. This has saved my sanity. I sometimes microdose when l'm really depressed and for me it's like having the volume on my rational thoughts/voice turned up a few notches higher than the negative thoughts/voices. Can't wait til these are fully legal and used properly to help people.

Microdosing while pregnant, I stand to be corrected but I don't think that would be a problem at all. In fact I think that would be beneficial to the kid too. Mushrooms are medicine. They are helpful and it has been proven over and over again.

Not all microdoses are created equally. I have felt like I was slightly tripping on as low as 90 to 150 mg. Some strains are stronger but also some people are much more sensitive. Just something to be aware of. Some of the dosages she's referencing here are mini or low doses, not micro doses. I love that she is speaking about her experience as a mother, specifically, since so many moms could benefit from this substance but are afraid to try it.

Idk why they don't allow illegal substances. We already allow cigarettes (which are poison) to be sold. Not to mention all the legal opioids.

I wish I knew of this type of community near me. Im 90 minutes from San Diego. I have been watching so much on microdosing. I am planning on starting myself. This information is so helpful.

I’m a mom of two and used to take hero doses before I became a mom because my family also was riddled with addicts and narcissists. It changed my whole world, I no longer saw the world as a victim of my life but I saw it as this incredible journey that I can choose my paths. When I became a mom I fell into the societal mind set of it’s dangerous. I recently started micro dosing and I wish I had done this after my son (my oldest) was born because I ended up in that pit of depression and have been fighting it for the past 4 years. I've never done a microdose. I always did about 3.5 grams at once. Don't know if that qualifies as a heroic dose or not, but it had me out of my body for about 6 hours it seemed. I'm already pretty sharp, but I get at least a 50 point boost when I am on these things. Answers to hard questions, and incredible ideas spring up, but you forget by the time it wears off. The desire to drink beer just wasn't there. It was like there was no room for that desire anymore. Really an intense experience. Waking up the next day is much different than if you used weed or alcohol. With booze, you may or may not get a hangover, but you still didn't get enough sleep. With weed, you wake up feeling well rested, but nothing much beyond that. Waking up from mushrooms feels like you caught up on every single missed wink of sleep throughout your life. The glowing the woman was talking about is real. You do feel like you glow because you just had all the bad stuff cleansed from your brain. Of course it has diminishing returns and you are eventually re-polluted again. That is one of the bummers of mushrooms, you can't do them every single day. I may or may not have had control of a pound of mushrooms at sometime in the past. I thought I was just going to do an eighth as day for a while. First day was great, next day absolutely nothing. As it turns out, I had to wait about a month before I could gain the full effect again. I mean, that is cheap, cheap therapy right there. Get your mind righted monthly. Some never do their whole lives. It makes a huge difference in how you treat and perceive people. In other terms, if you are the type of person with a stick up their rectum, you would be the greatest beneficiary of a first trip. You don't have to do any more unless you want to.

Sadly psychedelics are not benign, one week after taking a psychedelic my son took his own life. There are also many cases of people who have irreversible psychotic breakdowns. I’m sure there are those who will make comments, but as a mother myself, one dose changed my life forever. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I love psilocybin. It’s helped me so much after dealing with trauma. Depression meds and their dr visits actually harmed my mental health because they aren’t reliable and you have to keep trying meds. I am glad people are accepting the medicine can help people and grows on earth for a reason. She did a great job in this interview!

awesome interview! so glad you chose to talk about this. microdosing stopped my depression and helped me get over fentanyl. i cant tell you how relieved i was - i was actually happy!!! i no longer need to microdose, its been 4 or 5 years now. now, if i microdose that day or couple of days, its because i need to focus on something important, or go through a tough couple of days, or be there for someone who needs compassion or advice thats important to them in their life ( im not very compassionate normally, im more "tough love" ive been told) so not only has it helped me change the things i needed to change but also grow and become more balanced. i never thought i could get over depression though. i was literally suicidal for all of my teenage years and 20's. i am 39 now and happy. :)

Slowed down the desire to react. That is a profound statement. My biggest problem is reacting to quickly to my problems and almost always overreacting and/or jumping to conclusions. It is difficult to live life thinking that every problem is worst case scenario.

I can't find a source anywhere for any good psychedelics in my area, I suffer some pretty bad depression and i got a chance to try K and man it was a miracle substance, I felt free, the only high or euphoria was from the relief of my vices being released, that's exactly what it did

I've been doing this for 9 yrs. I'm a type 1 diabetic and it helps me mentally handle this diagnosis and it actually helps regulate my blood sugar levels. It helps me focus and control my emotions. I got a flat tire one night & a cop stopped to help & by the end of his help. I was charged with a class 4 fenoly for 3.5 grams. It truly needs to be decriminalized. I had no record before this. I'm now facing 2 yrs probation with piss test & check in 1x a month.plus fines. Al for trying to save my mind & health. Oh I also got fired from my job the night I got out of jail. I'm now going to do what I can here in Illinois to get it decriminalized. Idk where to start. But I'm going to figure it out.
