That's not how it works sorry. She should try medical treatments like prp, or minoxidl. She has very few foliciles in the area though so a hair transplant might be the only viable option for her.

Your hairs can definitely grow. Try Rogaine or minoxidil…I got my eyebrows lasered to remove old micro blading. The laser turned my hairs white, basically burned them off and all my hairs fell out. I derma rolled and used the liquid, hairs sprouted within 2 weeks. If you do decide to try, don’t put your scarf on, let the product sit and soak in. Mielle drops work as well. Speak life into your hair, the human body does amazing things. ❤

Girrrrrl, I know, The Struggle Is Real! I lost my edges from wigs, perms, dyes, tight styles, glues. etc. I never thought I could get them back so I didn't try. So glad you're sharing your process because there are many, many people who suffer with balding and don't know that they can fight back like you are. Keep going, we see your results.

Can you explain what you mean you mean by wig? Does wig without glue make one grow bald?
@Tiatia1111
@Tiatia1111 Год назад
@@temitopea.5327 glue can if it is put directly on the hair line which is a big no no but one of my friends use to get wigs that would have the metal clips installed onto the wig and she would slide the clips under her cornrows in a way that caused her edges to rip out. It shouldn’t have done all that but there is a right way to slide those wig clips into a braid so it isn’t pulling at any hairs💕

HEY Y'ALL! I just wanted to be 100% TRANSPARENT! I have a spot on my right side that is smooth to the touch. I had 18 packs of hair in and when I unbraided my braids you could literally see white bulbs at the end of the braids and there were 4-6 braids in that area that literally FELL OFF. When I make these videos and when I micro needle I AM NOT SELLING YOU GUYS A DREAM. I know those hairs wont grow back and I'm okay with that. My goal is to grow the hair around that spot so that I can camouflage the spot. I recommend going to the dermatologist/seeking expert help to see if derma-rolling will be beneficial to you personally. Derma rolling does hurt, please be safe, clean/disinfect your roller and don't share rollers. I'm still learning but I get better every time. I don't roll hard enough to bleed so that damage my follicles. You guys are amazing! THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORT AND LOVE! God Bless.

Mine is helping me too. I've had mine for 2 months and JUST started using mine faithfully. I see a difference in mine. I have .5 needle i believe. I definitely don't throw mine away because I can still feel the tenderness after using, hence they are still sharp. Alcohol can dull needles if set in there too long too often. It dulls blades too (clippers/razors). I use hot soapy water and a quick splash of alcohol every other use (with the alcohol). I swear your edges look like mine where the bald spot was. I'm happy to see my hair growing even in my criwn area. I do mine twice a week. Your progress looks great, congrats!

Sister, you are not alone in your journey to grow your hair edges. It's great to see someone who understands my hair struggles. Using hair to cover attachments and heavy braids caused me to lose my edge too. If someone had warned me about this, I would have taken precautions. At first, I thought that wigs would help, but they aggravated the situation because they added more pressure to my edges. At the end of the day, I make my hair myself, braid it knotless, and ensure that I oil and moisturize my hair edges and hair well. As a result, I concluded that whatever stage your hair is at, you should enjoy it as it grows. If you don't stress it too much, the edges will grow back with time.

@@tamithecreator understood. I’ve only used the minoxidil since November and the smooth part isn’t smooth anymore. It had been close to 10 years. Just like you. I won’t know till I stop using it if my hair will shed. I’ll keep u updated. I don’t even use it everyday like the directions sometimes and I’m still getting hair growth in places the stylist told me I wouldn’t ever again. Now I do other things besides minioxidil like all the natural hair girlies but this has been a Gamechanger. My hair is just past my shoulders after my second big chop in 2020 and my hairline is finally full.
@phinaexis981
@phinaexis981 Год назад
@@tamithecreator True and i heard of minoxidil as well and i’ve done a lot of research on it and it’s a really great option, that minoxidil really helps with hair growth and i think you should really try it out but the minoxidil only works for 1 year and that’s the process of using minoxidil your hair will fall out if you are consistent when you the liquid minoxidil and that as long you keep using it constantly you should have no problem and you should be fine but minoxidil runs out really quick so you have to be very particular of which area of the hair on the scalp that you want to put the minoxidil at and i will be trying minoxidil on my hair as well and if you put it on your edges and use it consistently, that your edges will look way much fuller and better before you started using minoxidil on your edges and your hair, that your hair will be in a much better position than it is now and that there’s also foam minoxidil and liquid minoxidil and that i’m planning to use both and i’m going to use foam minoxidil in the morning time and that i will be using the liquid minoxidil at night for better hair growth and i heard some people said that for women it’s best to use the men liquid minoxidil instead of the women’s liquid minoxidil and that the woman liquid minoxidil has 2% and the liquid men’s minoxidil has 5% and that they were saying the men’s version is much better to use for women because it’s a little bit more stronger and works better than using the woman’s liquid minoxidil for women so i am going to try an different liquid minoxidil for women and men to see which one works better for the liquid minoxidil and the foam minoxidil. And i found out when it comes to hair growth and that you have to try everything and anything to help the hair grow from hair growth oils to water base scalp serums for hair growth and to liquid minoxidil’s and to scalp massages and to red light therapy and blue light therapy devices for hair growth and oxygen therapy device for hair growth and doing the inversion method for hair growth also making sure you get your daily trims and from using irestore helmet for hair growth and the hairmax device for hair growth and using high frequency tool for hair growth and also go to dermatologist to see what’s wrong with the persons hair for hair growth and make sure you get a hair steamer device for hair growth and taking your hair growth supplements for a lot of different things for hair growth so there’s so many things we got to do in order for hair to grow so i’m willing to try anything even minoxidil but i’m not gonna tell you what to do but i think you should look into it sis and i think you should do it sis definitely help your hair and your edges grow and then i’m going to be trying to minoxidil on myself as well

Heavy box braids ruined my hair too! I did the big chop, wore my natural hair out for a while and when I do real protective styles I just stick to cornrows and wigs. I’ve started using a dermatologist line called MD hair. Pricey but I’ve seen results. I’m also using melanin hair care and Tabitha Brown products. Their lines are more natural and organic and leave my hair soft. I also use crème of nature for my budget days. Changing my diet, drinking more water and actually working out helps a lot too! I do protein treatments too. Just once a month to make sure my hair is strong. Sorry for the long comment but just subscribed because I want to follow your journey many black women go through.

Organic green tea is good for growing hair as well. Make one cup and pour into a mister. Keep in the fridge upto a week.

Consider a derma stamp for the scalp. It’s square and flat and makes it easier to avoid any snags or tangles. It might also help to braid remaining hair more loosely to avoid more damage. Best of luck!

What's a derma stamp
@xlgoldfish
@xlgoldfish Год назад
It's like a stamp, flat surface with micro needles. You stamp it into the skin in a vertical up and down motion. Hence it doesn't get entangled in your hair to pull it out the way you may experience in a derma roller.

Thanks for that info, because I tried using the derma roller and it was pulling out the little bit of hairs I had left around my edges,

Use olive oil spray or anything with olive oil for your edges. They will definitely grow back. Just try it. I been natural 4 years love it.

I used to relax my edges all the time until the same thing happened to me!! One thing that REALLY helped me is aloe Vera gel. The benefit of using Aloe is its cheap (can be purchased at your local grocery store), it’s natural, and it lays the hair since it’s a gel consistency. So you can also use in place of edge control. I would definitely recommend using the aloe after derma rolling due to its healing ability and antibacterial properties. Hope this helps!🤍

It's a RU-vidr on here who had alopecia really bad all through her head. And she got her hair to grow back with her products. I mean she had huge patches all through her head. So yes it's a chance to grow back. Whether your follicles are dead or not

First of all, let me say that i truly, truly i appreciate your honesty because (i don't need to tell you) there are a lot of youtube hair experts who just seem to be makin' up stuff. That said, i don't think this is for me mainly because for the pain, there does not appear to be considerable gain. I'm wondering if the same results can't be achieved through a less dangerous & hurtful process.

Tbh those last set of braids were the ones that broke the camel’s back . Your edges were already fragile from looking at that picture. I’m glad you are back on the right track !! Our beautiful tresses are tough , but yet so fragile .

After using the demerol you are to leave your scalp alone for 24hrs or longer- depending on the size of the needle abd then use topical products. Its giving your scalp time to heel and to not get a bacterial infection. It looks like in the wheree right after you ised the roll you then put in your oils for your scalp. I hope Im wrong😂 lol.

The struggle is o so real! I lost my edges 2 from relaxers, tight styling(braids) & hair glue for weaves! I've been nursing them for 5 years now! They r back but I still cannot include them in any styles. So I am waiting for length now 😏! Them edges take the longest to nurse back 2 good health. U should stick 2 it, cuz it's really working! I want to make just 1 suggestion, please no more braids girl. That pulls and ur new edges r being added as u braid. Or try and loosing each braid at root if u must do braids. Shalom🥰❤🙏🏽👃🙌🏽🤜🏽

Not only is tightness a culprit, but weight. All that heavy added hair puts stress and tension on edges too. ☀️
