A MicroCT scan done at Duke University's Shared Materials Instrumentation Facility (SMIF). The Aye-Aye was part of a unique population of these nocturnal lemurs housed at the Duke Lemur Center in Durham, North Carolina. In the scan you can see the outer layer of skin and claws in grey with the bones of the hand highlighted in purple.
