Microlight flexwing flying over North Milton Keynes. Piloted by Frank Dimmock this flight was from Sywell Aerodrome, Northamptonshire flying over Stony Stratford, Wolverton, Bradville, Newport Pagnell (M1 Motorway Services) in a Pegasus Quantum. Flexwing microlight flying can be best described as 'motorcyling in the sky'.

Great video! I'm based at Sywell, fly a Cessna 172 and have a few videos on my channel from the aerodrome. It's a brilliant airfield to fly from.

@ Mark Thompson They are restricted because that's what makes them a microlight. They are restricted by maximum weight of 450kg (without BRS), 2 seats, maximum stall speed and wing loading.

You only really use the foot pedals on the ground to turn the front wheel. In air you push the wing in one direction to turn the other way.

At 0:17 if you check the shit in the carburetor, you just have to unscrew the drainage screw ok, when you remove the entire float housing, there is a risk that the gasket goes to the forest ,,

It's easier and quicker to remove the float bowl. The gasket stays in place if you remove the bowl carefully. Slide the clip back and drop the bowl whilst making sure not to dislodge or tear the gasket, 2 fingers to hold the floats in place, a quick check for crud and water in the bowl and tip out any dregs, then refit the bowl carefully making sure the gasket is in place, then slide the clip back into place and check all secure - Done!

I too own a Pegasus 912 with the Q2 wing. Great flight, but my ears vomited all over my shoulders when they focused on the trash background noise. Good god man, delete that poor attempt at jazz. I have made better Sax sounds with my hand under my armpit! Just got/did my solo. I'm a noob with 40+ take off and landings. If I hear that music again, in my head, while flying , I may resort to Kamikaze! Regards, Andy.
