In this video I take you through the 5 Power Platform announcements made at the Microsoft Power Platform Conference in Las Vegas on October 3, 2023 - and it's all about Copilot!
Thanks for the great vid Lisa. Disappointed I missed this conference but your summary vids are the next best thing, esp for us Aussies where the distance is a challenge! 👍🏻
It was good to see you in Vegas. I took your class on Model Driven Apps vs Canvas Apps with Shane Young. Great presentation / demo and you may have converted my thinking! I'm looking for my next 'Model Drive App' solution to build. :) On the mention you made about the Power Up Program, I found out today ( 10/12/2023 ) that the GROUP training is still being developed and may not be available for another 6 months. I've signed up to attend and I'm on a waitlist (2-3 months) right now with hopes to start sometime in November. Thank you again for presenting at the conference. I rely on your video trainings a lot and it was wonderful to see you in person.
Thanks for coming to our session and glad you enjoyed it. On the Power Up Program for Groups, it's typical that Microsoft make and announcements well ahead oft the release dates.
I am more worried about data privacy. I don't want my data or data originating from me or my system to be used for training some model. I wanted AI to be a part of an OS, but I don't want it to leak my data either directly or indirectly. May be we need a new OS other than Windows that is centred around privacy and not AI.
This is the benefit of copilot, rather than using something like ChatGPT - if you are working with copilot in your tenant, the data is not being used to train any models, and Microsoft is eyes-off, they don't see your data.
@@LisaCrosbie It's pretty good. we went over basically all of the copilot features in the first keynote except for process mining. It also covers the GPT function within AI builder which will become GA in Nov.
