Thanks for sharing! The resolution is much better with the original than with stealing his structural slides via screenshot as we all do for years when it comes to Dataverse/CDS. ;-)
@@RezaDorrani Yes! I'm using some of Ryan's slides at a conference soon. As a thank you, you can tell him at the next opportunity: He was unhappy with his slides #2-4 because he couldn't think of anything for Virtual Agent that starts with "A". I'll use "Answer" for my presentation as this is the major chat bot purpose.
Reza, you look like you've been working hard there pal. I'm a little scruffy myself but I like calling it the "Workin' Man's Look". I'm trying to put in this work, but you sir, are definitely putting in that work. Shoutout to the collaboration with Daniel as well!
Thanks you Reza, Daniel and Ryan. I gained a lot from this session. Most importantly, I can now advise clients on the best data storage to use depending on the work case.
Salve Reza. Parabéns pelo maravilhoso trabalho e pelos vídeos com conteúdos preciosos. Agradeço também a oportunidade de ver essas feras todas em uma live. Muito obrigado. Grande abraço a Daniel e Ryan também. Parabéns a todos.
Hi Guys - Just caught the recording. Thanks so much - This was an excellent session .. really comprehensive front to back overview of Dataverse, with a couple of inside track nuggets thrown in there for good measure!... Great stuff!... 👏👏👏
Hey Reza, can you do a video on all the things that are not possible yet or that are not easy, especially for the low code audiance . Things that are currently driving me nuts in model driven apps are setting default values for fields, concatenating choice fields, duplicating records, charts that need to work with the full data set rather than time slice, pagination over 250 records, bulk updating an entire query, setting a field to use date() an on and on. You cover a lot of these odd usecases in your videos which is how i found you in the first place. All of the above i have been doing for over a decade in ms access and i am finding it really frustrating, thanks Reza
When "SQL, excel, SP List" has a baby the product is "Dataverse" ! Creating deeper holes in customers pockets but better experience. q1) What is the pricing/licensing model for the data stored in it? Does cost increase with size and amount of data? q2) Good data is supports billions of rows > How how about querying that data for analysis ? eg. Count(Distinct(column)) > Do I expect to see throttling ? eg. 2 > my query return filtered 10 row > do i expect any throttling ?
I love your videos, all are very interested. About dataverse table and powerapps I think you are right, but I need to have more videos about them. Because I tried to create and move the data from SharePoint list to dataverse tables and change a lot of things. From my point of view the apps are better with dataverse
Dear Reza & Daniel As usual great session and Thanks to Ryan for his insightful session on Microsoft Dataverse. However, I couldn't able to ask questions on the live show, hence asking here. My question is: Whether it is possible to create a view in a parent table with multiple related tables in the Dataverse using joins like we normally do in SQL Server. If yes, could you please share some inputs on this? Thanks.
I have not done any work related to data archival. May be check on forums. powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Dataverse/What-happened-to-Microsoft-Dataverse-data-archival/td-p/1439234
I have question regarding PowerApp environment. once it's default created in West US, how can I change region to East US. my synapse workspace and blob storage in East US. so in Dataverse, it doesn't let me connect to Synapse workspace through Azure Synapse link. Even I don't see options to choise US different region other than United States.
Will add your topic suggestion to my backlog but this is the first request on this topic. I will need a lot more requests on this topic to give this a higher priority.
Hi, thanks for video. Just curious how do i go about retrieving the audit logs of a table? i'd like to find out the changes made to a particular column on an audit-enabled custom table. thanks!
Hi @Reza, Thank you for this awesome content, One quick question, I don't have in my Dataverse enviroment this powerFX formula type of field, Do I need something to enable it or is it an upcoming feature not yet available ? Thank you!
Hi. I need help. I have a virtual sql table in dataverse that I need to get column item counts for in my power app from a dropdown. How can I do this? Can you help me?
Hello Reza, ive just started using Dataverse and im having trouble to filter two level parent child relations without the presence of ID column. Im so confused working without an ID column and cannot find any result on google search whats the alternative to this?
Hi Reza, how can we bulk MODIFY data in dataverse? With power query online we can INSERT and there is also a DELETE existing rows checkbox when importing data, but than you lose critical information like: date/time created. I know you can 'modify the data in Excel', but are there other options to bulk edit the data (I want to run a power query to do it)?
Dataverse is good - there are lack of Tools like a enterprise data manager for Dataverse - The power platform interface for querying data within dataverse has its limits. Any recommendations?
Dear Sir i am facing the issue to connect my local sql database with power app? please advice and suggest the meaningful link so i could go moving forward.
I do not have any videos with SQL or any reference link. I would recommend you post your issue/query with screenshots on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com
