Don't take this as gospel because I am still sorting it out. But this section for Xbox is still buggy. What I think I have discovered is that using END and then INSERT you cannot go from Drone mode all the way back to Cockpit mode. You have to first return to External Mode using INSERT. It you don't it sometimes hangs up on a pre-set view and even sometimes crashes requiring a complete reboot. Then load Quickviews, Fixed views, and Instrument views while in Drone mode with the keyboard commands only. And you must exit them with Ctrl + Spacebar and then X + A on the controller. (Important). Some people say the "F" key is a player but does not work for me. I'm thinking Drone mode may actually be a sub-set of External mode but I am not sure. If you go END, INSERT and then INSERT, END is seems to work all the time providing you have cleared other views with Crtl + Spacebar. This will get you started on this mess anyway. Other people report the Ctrl + Spacebar clearing as well. Asobo needs to straighten all this out to make it more straight forward. Update - To get out of Fixed Views in Drone Mode hit Ctrl & Shift + "1" twice. It works. It closes down that view and returns you to Drone mode. Found it in a RU-vid video but nowhere else. Ctrl & Spacebar + F does not work. Another bug I think.

I went to Anfield with drone on Xbox X but it looks nothing like it - just a regular building, not a stadium. Did you use some add-on for Liverpool?

Does anyone have an alternative controller shortcut combination? When “FishStakes” says “hold left stick and push the back button”, I’m not sure if he’s clicking it down or pushing it forward/backward. Full disclosure: I’m pretty new at the Xbox and controller. Thank you! Awesome video too.

Is there a drone mode in the cockpit? Its such a pain in commercial aircraft trying to get to a view where you can easily manipulate the center console.

quick question, i was able to bind the toggle drone using the same controller combination you provided (matches your combo after assignment) and can successfully activate the drone camera but when clicking the same combo again, it does not return to the cockpit view as in your tutorial (2:26), how are you able to return to the cockpit view without using the nav bar on top (it seems to work great in your video)? btw, i'm using the xbox series x only (no keyboard), thank you for the great tutorial!

I can only play when not connected to the internet, the moment I connect the game keeps pausing and unpausing, it does this in the menu and game play if I get there. Does anyone know if this could be because I don’t have a membership such as game pass or gold live ? I would pay for a membership if the game would work, but I believe it won’t. I believe it’s not the speed as that is ok, it must be my sky hub router that is blocking this game, now I need to know how to stop this, anyone know about port forwarding to get msfs to work?
