I wish you had shown the dongle clearly. I have a different Microsoft keyboard and the dongle was huge - about 4cm! Completely impractical for putting in a portable laptop as it sticks out the side. The rest of your shots were really good. I appreciated the detailed keyboard overview shows. In future videos, I'd be keen to see the dongle too since it's a deal clincher for me when buying a wireless keyboard and mouse.

Planning on either getting this or the Apple Magic Keyboard and Mouse setup. Considering Apple sells the same thing that Microsoft does and makes it worked while doubling the price I will get this. Thanks for the review!

Considering it's a MS product, I don't think it'll work on a Mac. So if you're using Apple, you might have to look elsewhere. Just fyi, there is no Command and Option key on MS keyboards.

No Way. Dealbreaker Alert. This new model does not retain the nice wide slanted downwards bottom edge - that keeps my hands and arms from tiring!

Pretty much all wireless keyboards don't have any Cap/Num indicators. They wanna save battery life on not having LED indicators.

Forgot to actually reply your question. I don't have this exact keyboard, mine is MS Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop (also wireless and no indicators). If you're on Win10, everytime you press the Caps/Num lock, a message tab will appear on bottom right to say Caps lock on or off. It'll disappear after a few seconds. So if you're not sure what mode you're in, just press Caps and see what the msg says.
