@@itsaknifestyle8482 I wouldn't mind a button lock flipper, it seems to work well on the Mordax. Nothing wrong at all with the way MT does the liner lock on the SOCOM, but I imagine it would add a fair bit of thickness to the handle, and the LUDT has nearly perfect ergos as is. Generally speaking(OTFs aside, they're their own novelty), I tend to feel like every decent auto would have been better as a manual. Any auto I really like, I like _despite_ being auto, not _because_ of it. The LUDT is the exception to that, I feel like it's a better knife because of being auto and button lock. What frustrates me to no end, is that my Stitch seems to have the exact same spring, but it's only broken once, and that was completely my fault. I was over- tightening the pivot in an attempt to find some miracle sweet spot where the blade will deploy and lock up reliably, but do so silently.

Yes that’s a good point. It is hard to imagine the LUDT as a manual, and there are probably reasons that microtech hasn’t already made a manual version of it. That’s interesting about the springs rarely breaking on the stitch, so I hope Microtech addresses the problem with the LUDT’s spring/internals, and fixes it in the future👍

Some big knives that I think of are the Civivi shredder, maybe that new Civivi cleaver thing. Also the CJRB Rampart. Not judging by big knives I really like the Kershaw Leek. I’m actually carrying it right now. It definitely on the smaller side but it’s a great little edc.
