@@comradeurod9805 "Jagdkommando". As a German, it is really funny to see this knife, because although "Jagdkommando" is an actual German word, it seems odd and you also teribbly mispronounce it. The way it is actually pronunced is somewhere in between how he says its supposed to be pronunced and how he says it isn't
Great review, thankyou. There's two Microtech's I really want. First, and most, is the Anax. Want one sooo much. Second is a custom Socom Elite, or even a factory made. Just love those two.🌠🙏☀️💖
4:26 woah, woah, woah, there Jimbo Slice, just because I am 20 and can't carry yet doesn't mean I'm stupid. Now, I am pretty damn stupid, but having a knife as my primary because I can't have a gun isn't the reason.
Hey Jim, Switchblades just became legal in Michigan. I picked up a Benchmade Phaeton and am loving it; do you have any suggestions for moving up the switchblade quality ladder?
the design probably came from metal fabrication shop tooling. I have an older "De-burr" tool made in Germany. Its identical to this except it doesn't spiral. Its sharp as hell on all 3 edges but you use it to swipe down the edges of fresh cut metal to remove that edge. I have one in my Kennedy Box. But one day I'll get one of these, and carry it. with my M9A3, for the novelty.
yeh the knife with the co2 is called the wasp knife and it is a mean thing when you release the co2 into a ballistic gel block it makes a basketball sized expansion
Hey man, i'm a French knife lover. Thank you for this video, learned a lot ! Have you ever heard of french knives like Laguiole, Opinel etc ? I'm just curious to know if they are known worldwild !
Jim actually used to be on a Television show that sold knives, kind of like a Home Shopping Channel. He probably knows quite a bit about them. I like Opienl, they make a nice budget folder. I own a No.8 and No.6.
4:15 I carry a knife every day but not a gun, even though I own them. For one because I can use a knife for lots of things, but also because most violent attacks happen within 3 feet anyway, perfectly in range. I think it's a pretty smart option, imo
In the large size, it just looks like a fancy modern pigsticker to me. Saufeder / epieux de chasse. Haha people get so worked up about these things... thanks for making sense.
You should check with Marcaida. He has reviewed and tested the damage this knife would do to a human if thrusted into a part of the body that would naturally be hard to surgically closed. Not a criticism just so additional info. Certainly not the most deadly knife but, “This knife will KILL” Review by USMC 2nd Recon Marine Division Scout Sniper. Believe it or not it makes no difference to me, but I think my review has some merit. My Kabar would also kill, better but not cause the damage unless I could twist the blade. Great video!
I have one of these - Full size. I actually use to to hunt wild hogs in Texas. And LET ME TELL YOU.. I half way believe it, man. It makes those fuckers BLEED OUT. It's NASTY.
Do not realy like this tri blade knives but i understand people like it. thanks for presentation. i prefer Zieba, cheburkov, T. Begg, Hinderer, Benchmade much more :)
Update as up yesterday 3/29/19, apparently in China they successfully transplanted a head in an 18 hour op on a corpse, and now they're saying a live procedure in "imminent". Also, it's technically a body transplant, meant for a paralyzed (etc.) person to have a new body, not for a body to have a new head lol, and also because I guess the the term "head transplant" is already used to describe transferring the brain alone between heads/bodies, although I've never read anything specifically about that. Pretty weird and crazy stuff...
I am just wondering...if the knife is really hard to make with a machine...how the hell all the Ebay Chinese knock off get the price down to 30-100 dollars? May be they make a regular 3 edge knife then twist it?
hi Jim were I'm at i can only carry a knife for defense but I carry a neckknife and a pocket knife.and a fixed blade knife on my hip. so that is the reason I carry my knifes for self defence.just saying bro
Para-Motard I'm a 29 year old grown ass man so go fuck your self i know mma and other stuff to so go fuck your self ok all I like to carry is folding knifes and fixed blades ok.one on my hip and a neck knife ok ps I don't open carry my knifes I keep them hidden under t shirts ok.
Jim- That knife, like you and myself, is a bit twisted. Actually, 18th and 19th century bayonets were triangular for inflicting worse wounds. That knife is really too small for tactical use and like you said knives aren't an ideal line of first defense.
They make a bigger one then the full size you mentioned, from what I've read and I'm not claiming it to be accurate, there are 3 sizes, the 2 you said and the bigger one I have the "full size" myself but I think it's a knockoff M48 cyclone, not a knife buff. But I read that a certain military uses them, and their primary purpose is the most damage done on a stab wound, with the big authentic ones screw sheath to serve as a club for non lethal self defense, that seems like an affective weapon to have on hand, especially if you have a fire arm on hand
lol I don't get how weapon fear mongers can be so stupid. A 9mm cavity from a blunt piece of metal travelling faster than the speed of sound is fixable, but a knife with an extra edge is demonic.
Was watching the tv show “Superstition” on one of the episodes they had the larger version of this knife on there. When I saw it I screamed to my wife I knew exactly what knife that is. Like I do to many guns and weapons on tv. Thought it was pretty awesome to see this knife being used on the show.
Cold weapon is basically weapon that does not shoot - it can hit, cut, slash, stab etc. and it covers variety of weapons (knives, axes, even knuckles I think.) Judging by the fact that guy is from Russia and I'm from Slovakia, this term is most probably used in other Slavic countries, too.
Well he accomplished what he set out to do, it is a cool badass looking knife. It shows his knife making abilities and it shows. Great looking knife 👌. Cool video.
I love microtech and carried a combat dragoon with me through 3 tours (never had to use it but It looked cool), but this is the most worthless knife in the world
probably 5 axis HAAS, i think this knife would be a great duvig knife for shark photography. wouldnt it be cool if the blade was on a bearing so while stabbing the handle stayed non rotating and blade rotated in! 🤣
This is actually a pretty bad knife for self defense. Apart from the obvious stuff if you stab something the knife twists in your hand, in essence You are pushing a screw into someone.
It was Just a saying, a way to make it more evil with the name jabcommando! But I agree with that stupid sCrew cap, by the time u are done deploying your knife. Your whole Body open wound certainly need a team of surgeon to fix up!
He just insulted all special forces type military that rely on a blade as a primary source of survival, and hope Rambo is not watching this vid for his source of entertainment but jim, you go girl.
Joe Black He said defense, not survival. It makes sense when he (and others in his state/country) can carry firearms, even more so for military personnel.
I'm a pretty new sub and I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to buy one of the knives you review but Damn Son they are eye candy. Like a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader
I never thought about the wound until now, makes total sense though. Here's a short video of my mini jagdkommando, thanks for clarifying how it's pronounced too! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RVEppfdzXjo.html
If the full size knife have any intended or any practical use my bet is on a dive knife, more specific a knife used by a diver or maybe even combat diver to defend against a marine predator like a shark, will it kill it in a single stab, maybe a small shark but morelikely again imo it will make a wound in the animal that stays open and dosent seal it self up easily also hopefully it bleeds making the shark a target for other sharks that might be in the vicinity, maybe blood loss would eventually kill the animal but thats my 2 cents on it.
have u ever seen a serrated dive knife? im guessing not. that shit already bleeding till it's dead. this knife is as he said, serves no purpose it's just to be cool
@@JimSkeltonKnives Jim Skelton lol i dont know but youtube recommended that video to me. He referenced your video in his. Thats how i watched. Here's the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-INHYR-3CdVM.html I will check out your recent video.
