Are the capacitors in series with one leg of the primary? I see you have four capacitors parallel. What is your total capacitance value? Assuming your capacitors are in the primary of the transformer, why does it make the arc larger (longer)? Does it raise the HV on the secondary? Did you remove the magnetic shunt in the MOT? Just curious as I have several MOT's and have saved them for vacuum tube projects. I have never used any of them as I understand the magnetic shunt needs to be removed to increase the available current in the secondary but as articles on the Internet discuss, removing the shunt lowers the inductance of the primary so low that the core will heat up very hot. It seems the shunt increases leakage inductance and makes a transformer with the least amount of iron and copper work as long as the load is constant. Be safe..
Sajnos hamar leég a legtöbb trafó.A primer 0.75-0.82mm2 alumínium,a szekunder 0.12mm2 szintén alumínium. Jobbaknál 1mm2 réz a primer és 0.15mm2 réz a szekunder.
