Hello, her from Germany. I played this diamond of a game for yes in the 90's. I am glad that I have all cards including 2 full Sets of the Balrog and 9 copys of the only german Promo " Taschendieb". @ covenant you asked about the other wizards, my favorite is fallen Radagast, he can shapechange.

Just got back into this game after 20 years off. It's got brilliant base mechanics (prowess, corruption, movement, etc), with some off-putting complexities, especially as each expansion added more and more rules. I personally can't play when all the various faction rules combine into one mess, but love playing the core Wizards set or the core Lidless Eye sets, or one of the many alternative formats and scenarios fans have shared online (Arda revised, etc.).
