Now I can't help but imagine a trailer where each tribe of Shadow of War doing a tour like MTV's Celebrity Mansions Dark: "This here is our Black Temple, where we offer prayers and Human sacrifices to our Dark Lord Sauron. Care for a "demonstration"...?" Marauder: "Look at all of 'dis loot! I'm richer than any of you sorry sods! Hahahahaha!h"
Markis2bi4 Mystic: "See that? These are the bones of all our victims. And most of the time, we can only take one bone because the others are broken, and really, we are not the Terror Tribe, so we don't want to have bone marrow all over the place...No, don't touch our boy Feldûsh here, he's been resurrected so many times he'll probably rot right around your fingers and have your handprint on that spot for all of eternity."
Team mystic here! Also liking machine and warmonger. Once we see more dark tribe I might like them more. Warmonger has an epic fortress! Gonna make bruz rule nurnen!
I love the Marauder forts not only for the lovely visual aesthetics, but for the dialogue between your subordinates as you just walk around. You usually hear them singing about grog or just being drunkards lol
The warmonger tribe can also grab your sword while causing damage to you so imagine a Prak Jaws that grabs talions sword during combat then breaks it afterward.
Tough choice between the mystic and feral fortress, but I have to say feral because I like how the trophies are hung around it, plus I like the idea of there being more beasts and bait around so I can dominate them without having to go on a long search for them.
(Mystic. I enjoy Machine, Marauder, and Fear tribe aesthetics as well. However Mystic? Not only do I enjoy their aesthetics, but I'm a necromancer at heart with a fascination with the undead. And our main character is even an eerie combination of wraith and corpse joined in a half-death, who could perhaps benefit from the Mystic's necromantic prowess. So Mystic, definitely.)
Ya know, you are get better and better at commentary in every video you make. I have to admit, in your first commentated video you sounded a bit nervous and the audio wasn't too great, but now it's much better, keep it up!
It's amazing just how fast this channel has grown, already at 14k subscribers. You even got people from Monolith mentioning you from time to time. Also, I wonder how Dark tribes will work when their under your control, as their whole theme is Sauron fanatics.
My personal favorite so far is the Warmonger fort and tribe. Not only looks great, IMO, but that will be Bruz' home. I also wanted to point out that some audio lines seem to have better quality than others. I'm not sure what is messing up some of them, but I will try to figure it out for next commented video. If you like to share your screenshots, clips and more, be sure to join the official UH club on Xbox Live, Palantir of Mordor! account.xbox.com/en-US/clubs/profile?clubid=3379876969174260 We just recently started. Ah man, Ive gone through those ten hours of gameplay. I was hoping you were going to ease my worry about fortresses no longer requiring the same actions to conquer (ie stand in the circle to claim zone).
No...why cant it be epic like their first siege demonstration video. (Im talking about the one with Az-Laar, you know what Im talking about). I don't know, I felt that one was more dynamic, and toned to fit the nemesis system, where this is more fit to generalization.
For me with those questions at the end of the video, here are my answers. Fortress: Dark Tribe Why? Because it looks Epic and, if I must say, DANK, huh? huh? Ok I'll go in the corner now and think about what I did. Tribes: Dark, Warmonger, Machine Reasons: Dark because of the Fort, and Az-Larr The Demolisher. Warmonger because of their Symbol, and Bruz The Chopper. And Machine because of the Armor, Weaponry, and Steampunk/Industrial feel to Tolkien's World of Middle Earth.
This is gonna sound hella edgy but I like the terror tribe fortresses because they seem very practical using mostly stone and hanging dead bodies to intimidate enemies it seems very practical to ne
i think the uruks dealing with magic should be able to like mind control elves and whatever humans are called, also i need custom beast armor/wear or theres no point for having tribes for me
Humans that are enemies of Mordor are usually Men of the West, because Men of the East are evil, some of the ringwraiths are kings of eastern people. I've seen how uruks call men tark in the first game, maybe its word for them in black speech, idk. They similarly say shrakh instead of shit.
Outlaw tribe might wear furs, and have ramshackle styled armor and weapons. Really hating how we know nothing about them! They better be priced at 2 dollars each. But from the looks of it outlaw seems more interesting and mysterious. And the slaughter tribe will probably be very bloody and similar to the terror tribe. I expect the slaughter tribe ability to take out meat cleavers and dig them into your shoulders and kick you backwards. The outlaw tribe might slam your head into their knee.
Defecting or betraying means not being your follower anymore, since they can get on your side even without branding. That means becoming enemies with you once again. There was example in one of their streams, where one of the captains defending fortress was blood brother of Talion's captain(combat buddy, fought many battles together). And when Talion killed that captain, his follower captain got mad, snapped mid assault and switched sides. Uruks with personalities will have such mental breaking points, either freeing themselves from your influence or becoming insane(while dominating captain you have option to shame him - torturing his mind and body with wraith powers, lowering his power; after couple of such shamings he can get insane and become hellbent for getting his revenge on you, at least that is what I heard).
Am I the only one who expected the slaughter tribe and outlaw tribe to be shown excessively in the gameplay videos to try to get people to upgrade to the more expensive editions?
Ya know comparing the Uruks to the Olog-hai look wise I like the Olog-hai more I totally want a version of Ur-Hakkon the Dragon Slayer and will probably have some Mystic A few Machines, Marauder and we shall see on the others
the terror tribe and the feral tribe are my favourites. I'll be torturing every uruk in mordor, and using caragors and graugs to chase down the stragglers. i'm so excited for this. Mordor will never be the same after i unleash the unrelenting pain upon these orcs.
