Your paintjob and conversions truly are fantastic. As a Moria player myself I really enjoy seing your models displayed and used in your batreps. This list sure looks like a good beginner list, and your explanation of tactics is also spot on. A few minor tweaks I would do for the list: I would drop both goblins with bows and replace them with another goblin with shield. for the rest of the points I would equip 5 Spearmen with bows. If you by the warg rider box to convert some wild wargs into warg marauders, you also have some spare bows to do so. The point being that shooting in lists like Moria is not used to kill your enemies (well except in clash by moonlight) and instead to better controll the battlefield and force your enemy and other horde armies to fight where you want them to. having your bowguys also be useful in combat is worth it dropping one model in the process I would argue. (this way, you get more shots while still having more goblins actually used in combat). But great work so far! Looking forward to your next battle reports.
Hi Kim, do the drums provide reroll as banners? in the profile it states they do count as banners but is specifies this is the case only for the purpose of Victory Point count
I despise the blackshield warriors are overcosted but their drum is simply superior for competitive play and forces you to take some. D5, +1 C, so they can survive without hero standfast a bit easier and can move and still work! The latter being huge IMO
I'm going to build up a 700pt Moria force but at 100 points is the Goblin drum better than 12 more Goblins under a Captain? The bodies add 6.5 more to your break point and adds more attacks/traps to your army. Why is the +1 crg to you, -1 crg to enemies and banner effect for 100 pts that is a squishy target for your opponent vs a full extra warband of goblins?
So the goblin drum is actually only 75pts, battlescribe has the points incorrect. And it honestly depends on the list, if you're going more heavy on goblins for sure I would take the drum. 75pts for a 18inch banner is setting that can't be overlooked. The plus one courage is huge for goblins especially once you have a couple of Blackshields running around.
@@kimspaintingcorner6683 Oh I was wondering about that. BS has been so good with most of it I assumed there was an errata to it somewhere. At 75 pts I see the merit but still not the must have. The might on a captain and a few more goblins still makes sense to me. I've only ever played against Moria and the less bodies to kill the easier they fell, drum crg doesn't save much in my experience. I'll definitely try lists with and without it when my force is together. I'm coming from Dwarf and Fiefdom armies so Moria is a big change
@@kevinreed8243 that's not too bad, keep trying the list out. The drum I like just for the minus courage and reroll effect. But having the Drake should be good. I used to run a Drake a lot without the drum. List works. What characters r u running? I usually have groblog and a few shatter shamans with the cave Drake.
