SIEGE BATTLE REPORT! ~ Dwarves vs Goblins Mega Game 

what a great game to watch, it wasn't just a battle it was a story with a compelling narrative. I think if the game had gone for 3-5 more rounds, the dwarfs from the walls and mines would have sallied from the rear and reclaimed more of the outbuildings but hey... it wasn't about winning, it was about getting 4 players together to play a fun scenario.... Thanks Jacob and that terrain. wow.

This is very cool, an absolute dream for any LOTR fans having a dwarven kingdom to defend! Really enjoy the battle reports on these terrain pieces too, would love to see another one for saxonia!

This scenery is incredible too. Not just the look and finish but the modular designs of the buildings and the destroyed stages of the walls.

A tough task for the dwarves with all those monsters. Some dwarf ballistaes or crossbows could have helped

Jacob what else can we say besides “holy cow!” The terrain looks incredible and it’s nice to finally see a faction like the dwarves get some love on the tabletop with their own themed buildings. Your battle reports continue to get better and are an absolute joy to watch! Cheers!

God how cinematic would it be to see dozens of dwarves just rush a balrog.

That Nat 1 on the Bannerman immediately made a scene in my head of Dragon fire spilling over the battlements as the grizzled veteran brought his shield up while dropping the banner shaft a bit to shield himself and the cloth.

An awesome battle report to watch, always good pacing and video time for your battles to boot. I'm new with no army as of yet but watching these always motivate me to play and plan my first army. Also just finished printing the first Kingdom of Saxonia building from your shop, it's excellent! The whole gaming group now awaits excitedly for this Kingdom of Durak Deep to begin its printing here and I will have the hobby honor of painting most of them.

Classic Jeremy 1s on the dragon's fire. What upgrades did the dragon get? Surprised to see David not powering up his dice on the Balrog roll-off 😂 Wonder why so many dwarves stayed within the great hall, those numbers might have helped. Great job can't wait for more!

man, seeing bfme 2 buildings brought to life in a board game is amazing, im assuming due to detail they were printed in pieces with software or someone by hand carved magically good job

Just discovered this channel and love the battles! My only request would be that you show off some cool cinematic shots of the minis when your detailing the army lists. It’s a really little thing but I think it would be really cool and help with immersion

Awesome game. I feel like the dwarves might have considered offloading a few more troops from the great hall. I know it was important to keep it but feel like the better half of the army was locked down in a building 90% of the game. Like if the balrog and dragon had gone and held the well-house.

Just started to look at middle earth again after years and years and seeing game still doing as good if not sometimes better than warhammer is nuts!

While I loved the match, it felt a little biased tords Moria. The dwarves didn't even have their ballistae.

Hello everybody, I just got my first Army last week so I'm pretty new to all of this. Any recommendation where I can get second hand heroes? Also interested in 3D printing structures so any recommendations on that as well will be appreciated. I am aware of Saxonia.

Great report. Great game. How do the dwarves win this one though? With 2 points for breaching the wall and the watcher in the water seems stacked against them.

Really cool siege. One thing though, the map was so wide sometimes it felt a little incoherent. Would love to have a visual showing the positioning of the units in a top down view. Maybe with a quick graphic or some dots or something. It would also be really cool to see the thirteen stages of the map in quick succession. I don’t think it would have to be super accurate either. Just marking pockets of troops and big models.

Did you print those houses at .4 mm or .28mm?

Wish balrog was stronger. Maybe if they gave him monstrous charge or upped his normal attack amount it’d be better. Maybe like make him 400 points but give him 5-6 attacks and 3 might just to help with dice rolls.
