From experience I can tell you, mid muffler delete has the best results but if you want aggressive, do both. If you want a monster add short tube headers to the mix.
@SwavyKola You can If you are looking for it to be louder. It depends on what you are running. Im running a V8 hemi so mine sounds aggressive but clean. You can also go with SLP loud mouth resonators with 4" double wall tips, they help also.
I did res first had a deep tone. But yesterday i took off mid mufflers and omg way better you can actually here what a hemi sounds like. I have the 6 speed manual and I'm telling you sounds way better than the the 2015 rt auto i used to have.. do both guys trust me you remove one your gonna end up doing the other anyways
Hey, to help you out the Resonators on 2017 to 2020 on the RT are smaller than the Resonators on the 2015-2016. So if you have a 2015-2016 taking the resonators out will make the car much louder.
@@djsthemetereman I'm confused what is the thing on the back of my exhaust is it called a cat resonator or another muffler? I can't tell n no one else knows. it's round and big n sits right at the end of the exhaust pipe
You’ve got your terms confused. The middle box is the resonator and the mufflers are at the rear. Mufflers and resonators do completely different things to the exhaust sound. My srt8 sounded good with the rear mufflers removed. When I took out the Center resonator, it was suddenly 10x louder and sounded like garbage.
I deleted my resonators and feelmits a more balanced hood sound . If u straight pipe it sounds like an old beater truck with no exhaust in my opinion sounds like crap just loud is all
@@392.DeadEnd maybe so, its hard to tell without an install. Drone is one of those things that you just don't know until you do. unless someone else had the issue.
Mane I’m driving a mfk Mopar V8 fuck the conversation inside the cabin it can weight ima just take the resonator off since I got cats and mufflers off already might as well do straight pipe
I had a 2017 back in 2018 and I deleted mid mufflers and shortly after the active exhaust valves started to get messed up. I ended up getting them replaced and they messed up again months after. Idk if that had anything to do with it. I have a 2022 right now and I'm hesitant on doing any of that again.
Wait? Are you in NC???? I live here as well and my car did not pass inspection due to being straight pipe from cat all the way back, all I have it’s an x pipe the rest … pipe
❄️ Air intake say stage 2; yes 👍 stick them out a little bit for real looking 🔥 for the charger and yes my 2012 TL straight pipe from 😺 to quads tip's also yes keep your 😺 catalic converter this mod has no check engine light 🚨 crazy 😧 content bro
I agree with some of what your saying but you are dead wrong on the rear resonators if you take those off it makes the car wayyyyy louder lol it does add drone that's for sure but it definetly makes the car louder don't know why you would say it doesn't lol
maybe in your experience, but i have more than 5 friends with hellcats stock and built and no issues. So not sure where you got your information from. It is a very common practice.
If you don't have anything positive to say. I would appreciate it if you keep your comments to yourself. You do not have to watch this video and further more I no longer have this vehicle. Thank you 😊🙏🏽
If you want to remove your cats which I don't recommend. You can either extend the sensor or gut out the packing inside them so it doesn't throw a light.
@@mikekendrick4586 again straight thru design FACT. I’m on challenger #4. None have lost torque. Roadkill did a RU-vid experiment with this exact issue and found No loss of torque or horsepower from opening up exhaust. With a dyno not an opinion
