1st Fishing session of 2024 we went to Middleton Pier looking for any species that would take our bait we took Squid Mackerel Bluey Frozen Rag & Sand Eel.
Nice to see you guys back out. You're new fishing buddy is quite partial to the odd tail end of worm. it had a good feed of a few anglers just before Chrismas, surprisingly tame. Better luck next time Ash, sometimes they are just hanging onto the bait and drop off, happens to us all.
Nice video mate, good to see the bairns enjoying themselves. Been lots of whiting caught from Middleton of late well done. That little Turnstone is bold if I've left my seat box lid open it actually goes inside mooching for scraps ha. Keep em coming tight lines.
Not a bad little video, nice to see that sunrise and made all the better with a few fish coming out. Also good to see the next generation getting involved, it’s been more years than I like to remember since I fished that pier, I was led to believe that the pier had been permanently closed off, how is the access and car parking now as I’d like to give it a go again one day. Many thanks for posting the video. Steve.
The pier is always open the only time it got closed was when the tall ships were in town parking I don't really know as I get the bus lol but there is plenty of parking just before you go onto the pier and cheers made really appreciate it love making these vids I'm still an amatuer but I like my own way of fishing
Love seeing people taking they kids fishing, more kids need to be doing it instead of being stuck in front of xboxes, I can see that your a beginner if ya ever see me on piers or on headland front I'll be on my motorbike so I'll be easy to recognise if ya need any help just come see me or even just to say hello
Yeah only been sea fishing 2 years but loving learning it all along side my kids like you said keeps them of there tech gets them out and brings out there creativity as I have them film & I have seen you before think mackeral fishing I stay away from top of the pier but if I see you I'll be more than happy to have a chat mate
@@GillysFishing-2023 yeah I love my float fishing for mackerel, going on the end of Middleton is more productive if its empty on end ya best of trying it, I don't really go on Middleton now like as its not very good for the cod, I'm more over headland
