cool stuff. I'm a concept artist and animator so even though it takes longer I prefer to make the artwork for my tracks (Im a hobbyist composer) :-) however, I do recognise how it could be important to people who don't have any visual art experience to use these tools to buff up their portfolio. thanks for the video !

I am sorry for being pessimistic about ai and thank you so much for your videos! They are really great and it is a huge work! The only thing that I feel is that we make demo reels using ai as if we will never be simply replaced by ai. Who needs to see our demos, hire us and pay us money if you can get the same track in one click, just as you don't need to pay to designers?

Thanks for your concerns. I can worry about stuff when it happens. I don't mean to say that I am free from worrying in general, but it doesn't make sense to me to worry about something that, for now, only happens in my brain. I could say, why care with bringing my YT channel along. I do it for years and I passed 16k a while ago. I will pass 20k, then 50k, then 100k and then I would be absolutely independently my own boss. I could also ask, why bother at all? We all die in the end. If I am afraid of something I try to explore my inner self, because AI itself can't make me worry, the same as a tax payment can't make me worry - it is always ME how I face and handle the situation and life in general :)

I think a playlist will mean nothing because everyone will be able to generate their own playlist within seconds. Selfmarketing and promotion and being a charming person to work with will be the most important thing. There are thousands of composers better than I am. I am just good at creating solid stuff and I am consistent.

Hey, there are different terms for each of all those AI tools. If you have a commercial license for Midjourney and Kaiber specifically, you are allowed to use them commercially :)

At 3:06 you say something that sounds incomprehensible: "Then I used the little intro from the ......stock library, and that's it". Whats that name? Stock library of what? Pictures? Videos? Can you please say it again slowly 🤪or write it down? Thx

Sorry for noodling that into the mic. It's actually nothing special. Just an intro from the Filmora database. You can get these things everywhere. Also at video hive or any other platform that sells motion video templates. In this case I am using a paid Wondershare stock lib subscription.

Disheartening to see such complete lack of solidarity from artists that just happen to have picked a different field than visual art. You do realize the Silicon Valley ghouls have their eyes set on your field next, right? Hope you think back on this when making production music has been rendered completely fruitless by AI algorithms 👍

@@AlexPfeffer I an artist by trade and a hobbyist musician, which is where I'm coming from. That's a nice entitled attitude, though! I wonder if you'll be as charitable once the commissions for middle-tier production music stop coming in because AI music models have been trained on your and your fellow composers work without your consent.

@@destructyo look, what I am presenting here is visual support to create attention towards your demo reel. I paid thousands for visual artists for my logo and twitch designs alone. However, an artist would need weeks and lots of money to create something like I show in the above video. I would go as far that people who are looking to present their cgi demo reel or similar wouldn't hire a composer. Hobbyist will always collab. However we have ab exciting and difficult future ahead of us but I stick with what I said before: Not AI will take people's jobs away but the people know how to use AI. It is not a matter of regulation or trying to avoid AI anymore. It will happen like digital photography and cars instead of horse carriages.
