The Escort RS MK2 models impress in all classes... no matter if 1600...1800...or 2000 cc class due to perfect handling and power-to-weight ratio... there has never been a more compact rally car... a living icon of rallying... And only the best of the best appreciated it... may the RS remain with all of us for a long time to come... what a car...!
Some amazing driving by all, thanks for postings these video's. Car no 43 (Escort), nifty 360 spin was superb. Some days I stall just getting out of the drive so these video's really do put it all into perspective for me.
Not the biggest fan of the newer rally cars but the Polo GTI R5 (I think it's called) has a great sound love the whistles... Saw one recently at Race Retro and he was hammering it!!! 😁😁
It was, I know because my brother was navigating in a car😂 Just a lot more deceptive than looks on the video and with it being under trees the road was very greasy
Clearly visible in this video... the rear-wheel drive had two steering wheels, the rear axle and the steering wheel... in addition to the front-wheel drive, the all-wheel drive is also inferior in tight curves... both push into the outer edge of the curve... a courageous throttle in the rear-wheel drive prevents unnecessary adversity... Appendix: note... the good driver... Has the flies on the side window...
