@@ray.shoesmith Diesel was a great album. I cannot deny I was caught up in that era cause I was a bit younger in the red Sails era but that was a great time for this band

@@bigmaxy07I'm not saying their music was bad after Species Deceases, all I'm saying is that their music never had that heavy, bass driven drive like it does in this song, and all the others Pete Gifford played, again. Bear James started it and Giffo perfected it.

Saw them up and down the east coast back in the day. Best described as a truck barreling down the highway. Pure old school mongrel who would reach out and grab you like a rag doll. Something I never experienced at other concerts.

I’m 62….Rob Hirst’s drumming on Only The Strong (Album v) is still jaw dropping. I played it fresh to my 27yo daughter and all we could do was laugh…… reference point is Cozy Powell on Rainbow’s Light In the Black

I worked this show setting up the lighting all day with Jeff Maryweather , R.I.P and Gary Broken shire. I ended up doing the 10-1 Tour with Ron James ..What can I say but ..The Oils rocked and shock the Capital over those few days .Chris Simmons🎉Super Roadie ..

so edgy and raw .. brilliant early Oil, Hercules, Kosciusko, etc etc .. i met Peter Garrett in an Indian takeaway in Ashfield Sydney 2 days after landing in Oz.. as an Oils fan from UK my postcard back to my Oz mates in London loved it !
