No. Jesse hogan was a bigger gamble, and I could name another 20. Track could stay on the outside and wait for handball receives and still be ultra damaging and ultra important. Just becomes Saad from Carlton. Lol , seriously though he could play as a forward and clubs would still fight over him
@clintoneddy2860 not talking about his talent. The bloke can't even get his heart rate over a certain amount yet not to mention physical work. There is no way known what mental damages he will have until he has that first contest or that first knock to the ribs again. Big price to give up as a club to trade in a player who you have no idea if he can compete to that level again
To be honest I'm not being awful. I don't think so. After what he went through. I came close to losing a leg and I was awake. Long story but me and tram tracks weren't friends for a few years.
The All Australian Squad is now more prestigious than in the past, because we have more players these days competing for a place. How about we increase the number of the main squad to 30 members, and lift the overall squad to 50 members? Just a thought bubble.
@Sbock86 true, but forgive me if I'm a little nieve, does a new club have to take on the 5 year deal? In the instance where a club gets rid of player then I accept the 5 year deal has to go with the player. But in this case trac is walking away from his contract. Can a potential suiter offer him less?If trac really wants to leave then he should accept what ever contract comes his way. Do you think Hobbs, tsatis and Setterfield play senior footy next year? If not then your can offer 2 or all of those guys for trac. Melbourne has no choice but to accept the best offer. This will also free up the cash you need.
Genuine question....will track be changed in his attack on the ball and will he put himself in vulnerable positions and risk physical collision (going back with the flight/ stand under hospital pass) or will he hear footsteps?? He's been a little too open with his mental battles due to this incident/injury, seems to only going further down the drain. Can he separate his doubts and go 100% at it
Thank you for the view of kozy Pickett bump. See so many comments of him. Being a thug but this one you can see what he’s trying to do and Darcy drops the knees… he was going to bump/push of and run towards goal it’s ridiculous
anyone who thinks kozzie pickett was simply trying to bump him off the ball in order to win said ball is kidding themselves. if it was his first time, sure, give him benefit of the doubt but this is far from the first time he's hit someone in the head deliberately when they're in a vulnerable position.
Can't believe damo still thinks moore took pickets legs if he's diving for the ball and the only reason the 2 made contact is a sharp change in direction from picket then what moore did is fair play, picket probably would've gotten off if it weren't for his record of collecting people high.
Listen to this flog Damo, Trac was a Dee through and through, and the club let him down so hard he almost died. Big mouth talking from the sidelines as usual
Hmmm… Bit strong mate… Petracca kinda needs to get a grip and realise shit happens.. just because he doesnt like something you don’t runaway from it.. He’s on a million bucks a year what else does he need..
Understand Tracc having the shits. Went back out on the ground when he should've been in the back of an ambulance. It happens, people fall out. If he wants out and wants to go to a successful club, I understand that. Who wants to play and get flogged every game. Does he get it? Probably not as they have trouble with picks/player swaps. Is that right his misso is a lawyer? Could get real ugly.
Damo you may have to eat humble pie. If the Swans meet Power in a granny look out. They have not beaten power in last 8 encounters and we all know what happened last time they met. The Power match up well against the Swans.
Princess Petracca is gonna find out the hard way, both Carlton and Collingwood don't want him, and I'm not surprised after that display of Karen attitude.
@@denisjeux1020 as a Blues fan I definitely agree he is not worth the price tag and we have the campo twins to get in this year owies left to sign I would go for lukucious fro Gold Coast
@benjaminstephens5489 just to get your opinion mate as a neutral what do you think noble is worth I thought pick 20? But my mates at work reckon 26 or 34 but we need to get back in the first round?
The only way the trac deal gets done is if Essendon or Hawthorn offer a couple of future stars on the fringe, just like when Josh Kennedy was traded by Hawthorn to Sydney. Cam Mckenzie can be the next Sam Mitchell and Josh Ward is quite possibly the next Jordan Lewis, both beautifull uses of the pill which Melbourne badly need. I believe both players will be playing VFL Next year especially if Battle and Barass come in. For both club and players this is a win, it also frees up salary cap space for the dees. Melbourne dont really have a choice, because if trac stays I smell Oliver 2.0 coming and that could quite possibly kill the club, why not take a chance on a couple of 21 year olds. At least you get 7 more years out of them even if they dont reach their potential they are still going to be very good.
As an essendon man, we DONT WANT ANY PART OF PETRACA, not that he wouldn't be the first few selected but we need to prioritise and we have bigger "holes" needing attention before we get another on baller. That's without even contemplating the sooky bullshit going on with him Rn. I'm very surprised how many have questioned if he will return the same, doesn't take much to be written off. West Coast would be a good match, fresh start, fresh state, fresh audiences and more support. Freo maybe not. Interstate would be best but he doesn't want it
@@clintoneddy2860 fair point, apparently the bloke almost died, so I wouldn't go as far to say sooky bs. I actually think Essendon needs to spread their mids further and a forward mid could lighten the load off Zac Merritt and co. Its a long season and to expect Merritt and Parish to get 30 each week is the reason why in my opion the dons fell away. Yes you had Cadwell and Durham but I believe a team needs at least 6 to run through. Just an opinion.

@@davidwilson1396 yes. The club has to take on the new contract. I meant in terms of how many players we would have to trade to meet the quality of player he is.
God Luke Darcy is so embarrassing when he tries to put on the big boy pants and have a crack at someone. Exhibit 1 - getting humiliated by Kane; Exhibit 2 - when he simpered his way through Dutton talking points with Dan Andrews a couple of years ago
@@StevenBoyle-fg4ncessendon could meet his demands they have SPACE in their cap, but would not be a priority I wouldn't think, they need fixing other areas
Kane's i issues with others. I used to admire Richoas a player but as a commentator, he's so biased, I can't stand listening to him. BT isn't much better but he has improved.
