Thank you! I grew up on the normal Artic cats, Ski-doo Olympics, We had a Kitty cat growing up. I had a 69 Chapperal 399 Kohler. That sled had a single cog with like a Para rail suspension. I had a 640 TNT. With a translated 399 rotax. Loved that sled. Also had a Sno Prince with a 340 Hurth. That was a good sled. Believe it or not. In later years (97) bought a spring order.Yamaha Vmax 600sx. Great sled. I owned 2 ski doo 670s one 95 grand touring and a 99 formula z670. Great sleds. My favorite though was 00 polaris xc 700 45th anniversary. That sled was fast! I have graduated to modern sleds though. I had a17 ski doo tnt 600 etec. Good sled but I traded that for a Polaris indy xc 800. Hands down the best riding snowmobile ever. That liberty 800. She pulls hard. Love your show. We are in Vermont and do the same things you and your buddies do. Great content and I've learned a ton from you. Thanks.

Hey John! Thanks for taking us along at the ride in 👍. Sure would have liked to have been there 🤷🏻‍♂️. Really love those Brut’s! So far ahead of their time. Your buddy Tommy sure has some cool stuff! Maybe could get a video with him in it sometime? Interesting stuff So how big a motor is that 650 based mod motor anyways? Similar to the SLP 707 or 747 RZ motors?
@nuttersspeedshop

I'm not really sure on the details, but Tommy will talk about it in a future video.

@nuttersspeedshop

I didn't talk to that person. I used to own a 1980 TK and it was a great sled. Pararail really rides nice.

Awesome video so cool seeing all those beautiful sleds. I recently bought a 1993 Polaris xlt 580 it runs amazing and your videos have been beyond helpful. Any advice about the 93 xlts
@nuttersspeedshop
@nuttersspeedshop Год назад
XLTs are really good sleds. As long as it's stock, just keep the fuel system clean and the carbs synched and make sure your clutch isn't too worn.
@ronnieheath6840

@@nuttersspeedshop I bought it from a old guy that bought it 20 years ago and rode it twice. It’s like brand new and an absolute ripper. I can’t believe how easy it lift the front end off the ground. Definitely plan on keeping it stock though. Thanks for the advice I appreciate it from the xlt guru

Looks like a '72 420 model from what I can see. 18 HP 295 Kohler one lunger. The lowest priced Gilson of its day. At one point I was debating between that and a Ariens 300 for relic class in the Wild Bill Race Series.

@@MidnightPolaris800 Cross your fingers, they are seldom ever seen these days. They didnt make very many to start with, and I have not seen one offered in a long time. Wanted ads may be the only hope now. They have a unique frame inside the chassis. A robust engineered machine despite its boxey looks.
