Box arrived on time and well packaged🌼 The vacuum is objectively a beautiful object, with a great design, beside being a terrific device. I have now had this for a few months and it still works perfectly. It's also incredibly easy to empty the bin and clean the filter. Strongly recommended.
Great video a salesperson at Harvey Norman showed me this vacuum it’s amazing made for me easy to use I will do my own RU-vid video review after I use it for a month
I have three Alaskan Malamutes, and I have to vacuum one a week . They sleep and eat in their individual crates, and although they are regularly brushed, the fur does pile up. So.....after working with a Dyson upright for close to 10 yrs, (had to replace the hose twice), and looking at all of the expensive Miele units, I came across the Pro Team vac. Although (not bagless), It holds a huge amount of fur and dirt. It is a commercial vac, so most people probably won't like it, BUT for me, it is the ultimate unit. Comes with a 50ft cord, and the unit is light, which is nice since you carry it on your back. Actually, very comfortable. The unit uses a replaceable throw away bag, which sits inside of a larger micro bag (which can be washed), and two HEPA exhaust filters. (Amazon-Powerful Proteam Super Coach Pro 10 QT Backpack Vacuum Cleaner. cost me about $408 (prime).
Many vacuums pick up dust on floors well, but I'd like to see a true pet fur demo. I have a German shepherd and 2 furry cats. I'd like to see the Miele pick up thick fur on a carpet without any kind of tangling in the rollers.
Hi cindy, If you are near our store, please bring as much as pet fur and pet hair than you can and try one of our miele cat and dog models yourself. We have demo vacuums that people can try themselves when they walk in to our showroom. If you are not near our showroom in Richmond Hill, please kindly let us know what type carpets you have so we shot a video of Miele vacuum on pet hair on your kind of carpet and send it to you. By the way if a German Miele cat and dog vacuum can’t handle German Shepeard hair, which vacuum can? 😉🙃
@@vacuumwarehouse Thank you for your reply! I live in San Diego, so I'd like to see a pet fur video. Also, I had an old Miele, about 15 years ago, which was really good, except fur and hair would get tangled in the rollers - and were a real hassle to cut out with scissors. Is this still a problem?
Hi cindy, Your 15 year old Miele probably didn’t have an electric power head, and even if it had an electric powerhead, definitely it didn’t have one of the SBB 236 or SBB228 powerheads. You need one of these powerheads on your Miele vacuum in order to clean heavy pet hair on carpet. Miele bagless models don’t have these powerheads on them, miele bagged models do. The best model for you is Miele C3 Cat and Dog. The powerhead on this model is what you need to clean that amount of pet hair that you have. Please call us at 1877-220-5656 to help you with more details. Regards,
Only concern which is not addressed is the hair generated by cats and dogs. I have a hairy dog. I totally accept that this cleaner can handle dust well and easily emptied...but what about the matted hair? I guess it will still need handling in order to get it out of the compartment, especially if you dont empty after each use. Also why does this not have an odour filter like the cat & dog version with the bag?
This is my second replacement Miele CX1 Blizzard Cat and Dog vacuum and I noticed on my first unit and replacement units that they seem to leak/ let dust escape from the bin itself when the vacuum is up right and placed on the floor. If you tap it or shake it a bit I’ve noticed large debris around the bin that have fallen to the ground around the bin area. Also, I have a concern with the air blowing out of the side versus straight up as this disturbs all the dirt that is on the ground pushing it up into the air and behind furniture defeating the purpose of cleaning. Let me know if anyone else who owns this vacuum has the same issue?
