8.18.19 2:16 pm Why haven't you made a video for 5 months? the first week i was trying to make one insanely quickly. the second week i was feeling yet again bad and shameful for being unable to execute them at that pace. then for the next 3 weeks or so i was making the song for the video. then, when i began the video, a little tickle in my mind was telling me 'you know that little 3d program i use for occasional little bits of things sometimes, well maybe i should actually just try to start the whole video on there and see what happens.' then i had my mind blown in more different ways and angles than i ever knew existed. 2 months deep into this wild ride, it occured to me that now might actually be the most fine time to go ahead and do what is known as the 'finalcut transition', which long story short means i have to entirely abandon the primary video editing software i have used for the last 5 years. the reason for that is because it was discontinued in 2011. i had been delaying this moment for the past 5 years, because as i always used to say, 'there's never a good time to re-learn everything i know, especially because i've been getting better and better at it every day for the last 5 years.' But, here i was, suddenly doing most of my work in a different program which has the distinct advantage of being available on computers made later than 2014. so being aware of that, a spectacular cascade of events suddenly began to unfold, which i can possibly trace back to viewing a youtube rental of spiderman into the spider verse, for which the only way i could watch it was on a borrowed computer, because my main computer had finally become officially too old to play the movie with ANY browser. that realization, combined with seeing how much faster this borrowed computer was from mine (despite actually being the same age), combined with the outrageousness of the visual effects in that particular movie, combined with the previously mentioned reasons for being ready to make the transition, i decided to reach deep into the savings acount and see if i can make things a little more interesting ............

I feel like the song was trying to tell us something. The lyrics are written to not make sense but the way he wrote this song was not to make it obvious that he was taking a break, but he wanted people to interpret it that way; he didn't wanna blatantly tell us incase we would freakout or something. And some got it right and some got it wrong. Some thought he was taking a break some didn't, and he did take a break. I don't know if this song was written with that intention of trying to tell us he's leaving for a bit or if it was a coincidence that he took a break after this song, but that would make total sense to me!
