Trini doesn't even have to leave Trini. Play power daggers. Then Play percise strike. Activate her ability, Play percise strike. Decimate whatever was in front of her.
Whenever I play this set, when a ranger needs a re-roll from Jason's ability, I joke that the ranger asks by saying "bless me, Jason, for I have whiffed!" I like to call Jason's type of effect "whiffing insurance." Doesn't matter what kind of game it is.
Mastodon doesn't defeat cards. That's why Lion Thunderzord specifies that it defeats a foot soldier card. Mastodon is mostly useful outside of battle to prevent panics or make them easier to remove, or to grab an extra foot soldier for leveling up the Zords if there's a zone you're not going to be able to fight at that turn. If you defeat a foot soldier when already in battle using the Mastodon Zord, you don't flip any foot soldier cards. Also rerolls are pretty good! If I remember my extremely off the cuff statistics, they basically take a die from averaging 5/6ths damage to 7/6ths damage - meaning you can pretty reliably hope for one damage per die as long as you have a reroll with a chance for a little extra. (I also liked Trini more than Kim)
That’s always been my issue with the mastodon, it says “anytime” but really the ideal time to use it is NOT in battle. And if you do, then sometimes it create weird situations. Still an awesome Zord though. Whoo! All about that Trini appreciation! And I admit, as I did in the video, I never gave her deck a chance in the game. Boy was I young and foolish back then…
I like your team breakdowns ... it'sawesome to play with thematic teams. But i like the total opposite to. Team up rangers, who havn't seen team up in the show, which have an amazing synergy in cardeffects. What i want to say I Like this game so much. And pls keep going singing the opening 🎉
The ability to mix and match ALL aspects of this game is of its best selling points. Making your own story with the rangers you want going up against the enemies you want, SOOOO much fun! And maybe I’ll “sing” (or my loose version of singing 😅) the next verse when I cover season 2.
Even the Tommy toys had the blade blaster. I’m fine with Saban giving one to him, it is what it is. I just don’t like it in Tommy’s green ranger deck because I feel it doesn’t synergies well with the rest of his cards.
@@homegamerdad Oh yeah, I completely agree, I should've mentioned that yeah, his toy did come with one as well, but yeah, it doesn't work well with his deck, you're absolutely right
