I kinda of thought you would cover this as you interviewed Amy jo Johnson and it's not in main continuity with the comic series it's nice to see you posting reviews again
Will you please continue with the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comics starting at #101 please? I am visually impaired and love how descriptive you are! It's okay if you don't! God bless you! =^D
Too bad the writers broke up Tommy and Kimberly. Just because Amy left the show doesn't mean that they had to have Tommy and Kimberly break up. They still could have stayed together while Tommy was still a power rangers in zeo and turbo. Then Tommy could have gone to college with Kimberly after he passed on his Turbo powers to TJ. Sure is very unlikely we would have seen Amy in Dino Thunder but they could have worked around it.
I'm not really into the comic book anymore nothing against them or anything they just don't appeal to me in the same way they used to but this does sound promising I might actually give it a read thanks for the review
Thanks for your comments. I'm not into the main Power Rangers comics anymore. That continuity doesn't appeal to me after the way that series evolved. As The Return is Amy Jo's reimagined continuity, I'm giving this a chance.
22 years ago, the date coincides with the final battle against Zedd and Rita. And note how there is no green ranger teleporting from the Moon in that opening narration from that fight. I'm going to guess that final battle cost Tommy his life, after Kim and Tommy were married, and that was why she wanted everyone to stop being a ranger. Because she didn't want any more of her friends to die from being a ranger. A very interesting premise and one I'm interested in seeing how it plays out. And yes, those panels set in the 90's just flooded the nostalgia.
