@Bmd9007 a knife is a cpw 4°/misdemeanor. He also said something about his lawyer getting it dropped. Not all cpw charges are felonies. E.G. a loaded gun is a felony, blackjack, pillum ballistic knife etc
I’m a retired PO from south Florida. I listen to a lot of these podcasts and always feel the COPs interviewed don’t know they’re a@$ for a hole in the ground. Your interview was excellent and you finally explained Stop and Frisk the right way. Stay Safe brother!
Your right on the money with that one. Police in my Neiborhood only came in to regulate and enforce they're egos on us with no retribution AT ALL....... Police should definitely police their own Neiborhood's.
I agree, but that's dangerous in nyc because the bad guys will know where you live immediately and your family will be in danger. That's why the police department never place you in your own neighborhood. Most of the time they place you in a different Boro chances are you being followed home is slim to none. I'm from nyc Queens.
That ish in NYC is ridiculous Sanctuary cities are ridiculous They get what they vote for The thing is that all the while they wanted everyone looking overseas but really it was already here and they’re literally right next door and coming from right next door Real threats are not over there It’s right here already. But those peoples making your decisions want you to believe you’re in danger from someone as far away as possible. Basic people don’t get it though
Exactly. Saying "Bronx is like old school Black people...packs of teenage Black kids.. and it's intimidating" is SLOPPY work in 2024. He participates in exploiting black and brown criminal narratives for views and profit.
I was thinking the same shit, whenever he spoke about black ppl he referred to them as kids and then his example of a weak NYPD recruit, was a "fat Jamaican lady". Wonder if he'd say those things if the person he was interviewing was blaxk
The US needs a system like El Salvador. Thanks to President Nayib Bukele. Gangs are considered terrorist organizations under Salvadoran law. The reforms also lowered the age to 12 for which people can be tried for gang-related crimes.
#1 gangs are a American phenomenon the gangs in El Salvador and throughout Mexico central and South America have been created in the 🇺🇸 and transplanted to the different countries including the Caribbean. If America hasn’t already done so with the gangs they never will.
When Tony talked about people getting mangled on the 7 train -- i once saw that. A drunk person was actually walking on top of the train, fell on the track and got cut in half. I saw the lower half of the body up there for a half hour with the blood coming down on the sidewalk in front of me. this was 23rd street in LIC I believe was the name of the street. I guess it took a really long time for them to get someone to go out on the tracks and retrieve the bottom half of the person's body.
@@tula1433 We certainly can. I’m not naive, and I had my fair share of juvenile delinquency. But we can’t send messages out there without those stats and some context. The ethnicity of the kids wasn’t important to that story. It’s the fact that adolescents are misguided and committing crimes all over NYC with little repercussions.
@@JaimeGodina we can have the conversation. But Johnny put a blanket statement out there without much context. We don’t need tourists being afraid of not only black men but black kids as well. I just think his statement needs context. And then we can discuss the problem and some solutions. Tougher penalties, more police, cameras in every car, etc.
Stats don’t lie. We have a culture issue that needs to be addressed and not ignored. Doesn’t matter if it hurts your feelings. We need to identify which groups do what, and go from there!
@@tula1433this dudes whole shtick is selling drugs because he wanted to copy hip hop artists . we acknowledge racism in Ny but we move past it, you guys are stuck on it, move past the 1800’s mentality and develop some new views.
So are we gonna ignore every black comedian who devotes 15 to 20 minutes of thier act disrespecting white folks yes cause we're not weak and super sensitive
Watching this as someone who grew up in Brooklyn and became an CEO for my company. Coming back to NYC with my with my accomplishments with my cars. I was a target, especially in the stop and frisk era!!! I’ve been told multiple why you here, how you buy this car, I was a drug dealer, scammer, etc!!! NYPD is so corrupt it’s crazy. Grew up in Brooklyn, went to college, started a great business and I still up to this day get treated like a criminal/ suspect when I visit my family in NY!! Sorry I have no respect for NYPD!! That’s why I always keep lawyers on retainers when it comes to police, they’re just protected gangs that get away with crimes!!!
I CAN'T BELIEVE he didn't mention COVID AT ALL. It got a million times worse during COVID, and hasn't gotten much better since, though it did a little bit. I looked at the statistics.
@@lilbronxriverzulustyleisba6565I thought the same thing but the comments say he’s white 😅 I thought he was Hispanic so it all made sense after that 😂….. not funny but one of those “ohhhh ok got it” kinda moments
Maybe in the USA. Definitely not worse than a 2nd or 3rd world country.

Why’s that funny.. it is. Doesn’t mean it’s the most impoverished it’s certainly not. But when it comes to sheer crime , mafia, drug gangs , corruption, murders , all types of crime every shady thing you can think of I’d say 100 percent. Esp with the average attitude of everyone and I’ve been to over 50 countries
New York isn’t even remotely close to the worst in any single category you mentioned. Stop with the nonsense and look things up before making ridiculous statements
At 4-5 yrs old I played cards wit one grandfather. Taught me how to bet on cards. While 5 roads away my other grandparents were having card games tgat went for days. It’s normal
@@lilbronxriverzulustyleisba6565 I think you’re looking for racism in everything. That’s the problem. There is truth to what he said whether you like it or not. Ppl need to understand why ppl have these opinions. There’s a good chance they’ve been in a situation with an African American that made them think like that. I feel like it goes without saying that obviously not all are that way but there’s a large amount of people that are the reason ppl have these opinions.
If a person has a long crime history, obviously, he doesn't care about the consequences of his actions. Jail or prison time is like a joke to them. The thing that bothers me is that if you harm them back, then the cops arrest you for excessive force or something stupid like that. It's like gambling if you defend yourself. Different laws for different generations. Laws have the tendency to stay the same, The people change and the laws don't change much accordingly. I remember a cop in Puerto Rico said to me, if someone break in your place and try to harm you, make sure that person is dead.
57.45 “some little black kid doing dances on the monkey bars “ being a white person this guy should reframe from making certain comments . I’m not even watching this RU-vid channel anymore
I’ve been riding the subways much longer then this lying cop has been alive and never have I seen one of these dancers beat anyone up if they didn’t give them any money. It’s always been the opposite where they thank you for watching and have a blessed day. He just wants to look cool saying it. Just your typical lying cop
Listening to your cop stories Tony, this makes not want to cross the bridges anymore!! I use to go into the city a lot since covid i can count with one hand how many times i have made my way to nyc. Im 20min away in jersey😢
My grandfather lived in New Jersey his name is John DiGiorgio he was a boxer. He owned race horses. When he died people ripped the walls out of his house looking for hidden money. We were in California so we have no idea what was stolen. The attorneys and realtors lied to my mother and aunt and convinced them to sell his property for $200K then they sold the property for millions. This was 45 years ago and my mother still talks about getting ripped off and I get tired of hearing about because it was my mother and aunts fault for not taking the time to make sure they were getting market value and maybe I wouldn't have to struggle my whole life
Then you'd be just like the rest of the soft outsiders who aren't from this city and can't hack it and quit. You would be doing this city a favor by quitting.
Just to update and include this current info, as of February 2024, cameras were installed in 1,000 New York City subway cars on the C line. The MTA plans to have cameras in all subway cars by 2026 to help prevent crime and catch suspects.
Everything what he saying is so true I live in the city of New York and the crime is very high the system is actually broken. They only come when someone gets killed. Not trying to bash officers. That’s just the way the system is. Worse now has gotten worse’s you have to watch your back every time when you take the subways on the bus or anywhere in the city
The reason why a lot of these officers are leaving is because the system is broken. It’s the higher ups I don’t care. Because they know that the system is really broken.
Re: lush workers -- I fall asleep EVERY time I'm on the subway. One time when I did, a guy robbed me of my friend's John Lydon (of the Sex Pistols) bio that i was borrowing. I thought that was kinda funny. after it happened someone woke me up. he did it so fast and ran off the train before they could say anything. It could have been a guy who sells books and other things in Union Square (though unlikely) or more likely a thief but one who really wanted to read that particular book!
Not many Podcasters have the cojones to generalize about large groups of our fellow Americans (ie.. Johnny says, "Dominicans carry knives a lot too.") Fortunately, not a lot of Podcasters have those type of cojones, because sometimes it comes across as SUPER racist.
I met some young Russian 20yearolds in Coney Island projects & i am from the lower east side...one of the Russian s who was extorti g his own kind caught a body & ended up on Rikers Island...I left...🍝
So my guy went to transit . Has 0 patrol time . Trying to talk about how it is . Let me run your tax B . Dont let me find out you had a whole 3 collars in 5 years
I’m sorry but not all the dancers on the train are hard core criminals. They are not all the same but I’m not saying some are but it’s wrong for him to say all of them are.
I just said the same thing to someone else as I'm scrolling down the comments. He went full 🐂💩 on that one. I lot of what he said is true, but I guess people really can't help but exaggerate when they're telling stories and are enjoying hearing themselves speak.
I love the dancers. I love being entertained. I don't know why he saying if you dont give money they're punching you in rhe face. It probably happens but never in my life did i hear that. But who knows
NYC in the 80s may have been a war zone but damnit at least it was affordable. Now you still have to deal with this bullshit with the privilege of paying 3k+ a month in rent.
“Little black kids doing monkey bars on the pedestrian poles” “Bronx is like old school like black people, I’m talking about old school packs of teenage black kids” Guest is talking about Hispanic gangs and Italian mobsters the whole episode and this guy brings blacks into it. Wtf?? 😂
